Lola isnt being good, but I can't help feeling that it's about time a man has all the angst as it's usually the women that go through it ( as much as I like Jay!) I feel sorry for him but he needs to move on now. She doesn't love him.

New Peter deserves Lola! Both of them are not that nice really. Habs should not bother with him either; she deserves better.

You’re pregnant to a man you’ve only been dating a few months, you’ve already got one child, no home of your own, not even living with new partner, ex partner/father of your child is going through a nightmare which you will be supporting him through you don’t want another child so your facing a termination and your new man dumps you for not agreeing to marry him, so you have a drink and kiss a man (you’re single now BTW) and this makes you a slapper?

And I’m usually a big fan of Jay but he’s way off the mark here. He was trying to force her into a situation he knew she didn’t want to be in. He knew she didn’t want the baby, he told her he supported her decision but then he tries to manipulate her into keeping the baby. Of course she doesn’t want to get married after dating for a few months!

This 'love triangle ' may run and run I bet. She will boomerang : Peter will mess her about.
Jay will take her back ; she'll go back to new head etc etc. We will grow bored of it by the first May bank holiday!
Lexi is never at school : she'll get a fine to add to her woes.

She said if he wanted a child so much maybe he was with the wrong person. Which didn’t seem so shocking to me but if there’s a history there then maybe it was. Did he have a pregnancy storyline with someone else before?

Lola and new head Peter is like watching two boringly good looking people predictably get off with each other at an office party you want to politely leave. He could have stayed with Ruby after all.

watching two boringly good looking people I can never see past Lola’s hair to see her good looks. It’s probably because I have never liked her character. Peter and Lola were predictable. Jay needs to unglue that undertakers coat pronto!

Poor Jay. He went about the whole thing very badly, but all he has wanted since his dad died is to be accepted as part of a family, and he saw a chance of that with Lola. He should be far more messed up than he is (especially by EastEnders standards).

I really like Lola, but I'm not impressed with tonight's development with Peter (which has been signposted like Elton at Vegas since he came back). I'm not into new Peter, I think he'd be better suited to Dotty. And in true EastEnders style, him and Lola are a bit of a messy set up - she's the mother of his step-cousin ( and probably related in at least two other ways, but I can't untangle the genetic web of Walford to figure that out).

I hope that's not the end of Lola and Jay. Hope just a drunk fumble with Peter. Probably not though. Can't remember what Peter was like really because new head means there's no memory jog!

Did Linda mention something about pills the other day? I thought she might be taking pills to help with withdrawal? Or did I get confused?

I actually think Jay is one of the very rare people Square who isn't actually genetically linked to anyone else. 🤔 I can't think of anyone. Tracy the barmaid and Shrimpy are the only others I can think of who are there at the moment.

Old Peter was a bit unremarkable a good looking boy but that's about it even when his sister was murdered his acting range was meh !

I laughed at peter bent over double to reach to snog Lola! And yes Linda said 'the pills are helping' to mick, so presumably to help with withdrawal.

To be fair old Peter has buggered off to the land of movies so he can't be that bad!
