On BBC she does. ITV seems to be using selective views.

I imagine she's extreme my disciplined about what she eats. I think of her as a bit of a Mary Berry type, making sure she eats all the food groups but in very small portions.

I think she looks far too thin. Not just too thin but worryingly so. It isn’t just being athletic because before she got married she was a normal weight and looked much better for it. She also looked so much better pregnant.
She looks tired, drawn and stressed a lot of the time although she puts her best foot forward and laughs and engages with people. I think the strain of being in her position must be overwhelming, particularly in the light o recent events.
More attention is on her now and more expectation. I suspect she is also worried about William who must be upset about Harry.
Meanwhile her brother in law and his wife have buggered off to please themselves and her Uncle in law is a low life sleaze who lies and gets away with it.
Now Autumn is divorcing Peter, she must feel quite isolated. All the Royal women are Quite a bit older than her. She gets on with Zara, but Zara may go and live abroad in the future too.

I love people comparing their ‘average joe‘ mum of 3 kids life with that of the soon to be Queen Consort like it’s anything like the same thing Grin.

I used to model even amongst my old colleaguess it's unusual to be that slim in our 30s after children. I can assure you that in real life she will be tiny.

I'm 5ft 10 & a small build. I would guess her weight around 8 stone

I've always thought she was too thin. I don't believe that's her natural figure. She looked healthier in previous years (she was still very slim but looked naturally slim rather than emaciated).

I must be very unobservant (or maybe I don't care) but she looks the same as always to me.

But nothing anyone says in the media/online is going to help if she has an ED, in fact it's almost certainly going to do the opposite.

I don't see a problem. She was always thin/sporty/tall when at Uni. I'd be worried about her if she'd previously been chubby and was now like a stick, but she's been consistent. She obviously exercises and watches what she eats. It's not as if she's got the anorexic look of bones visible through her skin. I just think everyone is getting accustomed to fat being the new norm.

She's probably tired from all the engagements plus her commute to all these engagements?

Christ on a bike. She has nannies, ironing ladies, cleaners, probably an ad hoc chef plus her commute is most likely a helicopter. She does not have average mum of 3 kids lifestyle.

Anorexia doesn’t have a ‘ look’ my d has anorexia and unless you see her undressed you probably wouldn’t know there’s an issue, she’s often praised for her figure, but she has an illness that could kill her.
It’s possible to have anorexia in a heavier body too, it’s the period of starvation that counts not the number on the scale or how someone looks.

When they lived in Angelsey she evidently cooked all the time and loved it- was often shown shopping in Waitrose with her trolley
There is a massive difference between doing something for fun and doing it because if you dont, the kids wont have any dinner. If she didnt fancy wandering round Waitrose or cooking, she doesnt have to. Its frankly an insult to working parents to pretend either of them are anywhere close to overworked or tired as a result of their fairly minimal duties.

Kate does look very thin, however William's alleged mistress is equally scarily thin, so I think it may just be a standard posh woman look in the set they hang round with. She always looks happy, switched on and engaged and her skin is good, so hopefully it is just self discipline and not an eating disorder.

I think she is naturally slim, her own mother is also very trim for her age,
As her skin and hair look great I think she is in good health and eat a very good healthy diet.

Also look at her sister she very slim as well.

Toffs are often skeletal, it ties into the stiff upper lip and self-denial vibe.

She doesn't do that many engagements, and the ones she does are always covered by press, so you think she's busier than she is.

That is the body of a woman who eats well and exercises a lot. Looks in peak health for a woman doing great yoga/weights etc.

DD saw her when she came to the charity where she works.

They were all shocked at how tiny she is in real life. DD is a very tall slim size 8 and commented that Kate must be a size 4 to 6. Her waist and hips were the same size.

I wouldn't want her life. Imagine having to have 24/7 security for your kids. No wonder she looks drained.

Daily Dirt has been hinting quite a while, asking why she has to use so many plasters on her hands and that she severed her relationship with Rose Hanbury. Drip, drip, drip...

Difficult one: in France, they turn a blind eye to this if you're in high office and they think naturally you have affairs. Bad that if they divorce as well. No wonder Sophie is the queen's favorite..

Report
inmyshedsmoking2000 · 12/02/2020 09:16

Plasters on her hands might be due to weight lifting too!

She looks lovely. My own mantra is to have a little spare in case of emergencies 😁
If she is poorly probably only she and Wills know of it, though a lot of people struggle with denial and believe theyre in control (or exercising control) but the disorder is in fact controlling them. Scrutiny of any kind not helpful folks as people become paranoid everyones out to fatten them up. i hope shes ok.

This thread is really unpleasant.

Either she is thin through genetics or choice, in which case no one should be body shaming her.

Or she has an ED and this kind of thread will be deeply upsetting. Let her be, I am sure she has family and friends who genuinely care for her and can support her if she needs it.

I just googled the pics. I don't think she looks as thin as she did in the summer at Wimbledon. I think that was the tipping point between being slim and actually looking underweight and like something might be seriously wrong.

Endless media scrutiny and criticism would be enough to give anyone an eating disorde.

Carole and Pippa are supposedly in diets a lot. You don’t get that thin without a lot of self disciple.

I feel very sorry for Kate - it is clear she is now being pushed forward into the lime light more so than before to counteract what happened with Harry and Meghan recently. She has always been such a trooper doing what she needs for Queen and country. That's why she is popular. But she has three small children - I bet she is secretly wishing for her life before the Royal Family needed to ramp things up to counteract the recent bad press.
