Anyone watching?

The two youngsters had a maturity beyond their years.

The Latin dancers were a bit out of sync. Why didn’t the young lad start with the rest?

Didn’t see the first duo - cooking food.

And the traditional dancers? GrinShock were honestly the worst act, I have ever seen on any Simon cowell programme in all my years. Seriously. That bad!

Final 12.

Remember when Matthew suggested/considered taking the lovely gentleman of a man - "yeah but tap dancing is really unappreciated" - ie the public don't appreciate the skill, it's not mainstream drivel with jumps and tricks = I won't win the completion!!

Indeed. Although that tap dancer did not bowl me over and I didn't like the music tapped to.
Whereas these guys did a storming audition on France's Got Talent and went through to later stages. SOOOOOOOOOO satisfyingly stompy!!!
Starts 1 minute in:

Video if you prefer:

I would have loved to see a tap troupe on the show!

NancyDrewCrew · 27/01/2020 21:41

Something like Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies would also go down well I think:

LittleAndOften · 27/01/2020 23:52

I love tap, but I agree that the song choice was odd, the choreography didn't match and he didn't have much charisma. It was the same with both ballet acts. They have the skills but lack the presence and decent choreography.

I think it really shows when an act has a great choreographer behind them and by contrast when an act has tried (failed) to just put something together themselves, however skilful they may be it just doesnt work.

Hi all,

Great opening number. Really enjoyed it.

Dance point - good performance, good story, could have done with a little more dancing

Standrewsschool · 01/02/2020 18:47

Romeo and Juliet - that was really beautiful. Anyone know what the song was?

jay55 · 01/02/2020 18:47

The Latin couple were incredible.

jay55 · 01/02/2020 18:48

Des'Rae Kissing you.

Standrewsschool · 01/02/2020 18:56

Love Harrison, strong performance. Not sure it was such a people pleaser as last week

Standrewsschool · 01/02/2020 18:57

He’s 17!!

iklboo · 01/02/2020 18:58

Oh my. That was SO good. He's such a talented lad - his acting really enhanced the performance. And still so young.

Shimy · 01/02/2020 18:59

I honestly didn’t see a lot of dancing from Harrison, . A few backflips and that was it. Was full of passion though.

Standrewsschool · 01/02/2020 19:02

not so keen on this performance. Didn’t like the outfits either.

jay55 · 01/02/2020 19:03

Harrison's seemed really short. The queens was too much behind the table at the start.

Crinkle77 · 01/02/2020 19:04

@Shimy yes I didn't think Harrison's performance was as good as his audition. The Queens routine was boring.

Shimy · 01/02/2020 19:08

I felt the Queens danced well but their outfits were horrendous. I started to feel a bit queasy at some point watching all the green swirling about. Those suits just don’t suit dancing and took away from a great routine.

Soontobe60 · 01/02/2020 19:10

I thought the Queens were great!

Shimy · 01/02/2020 19:10

@crinkle This the first episode I’m watching.

Standrewsschool · 01/02/2020 19:18

I thought Harrison’s was short as well.

Wasn’t keen on Ainsley’s performance. I felt the choreography could have been better, and there was no story. He can dance, but wasn’t as graceful as Harrison, and didn’t seem to finish of moves properly.

The two young dancers timing’s were perfect. A lot of running in that act. Could have had more dancing,

Crinkle77 · 01/02/2020 19:23

@Shimy watch his audition

iklboo · 01/02/2020 19:25

The littlies were very cute but I'm cynically allergic to poppets Grin

Shimy · 01/02/2020 19:26

@Crinkle, I will.

I thought Queing was amazing, very surprised they only 88%. So intricate and in sync.

Standrewsschool · 01/02/2020 19:26

Harrison’s first performance -the clown- is amazing.

Really enjoyed The Vale. Cheryl summed up what I thought - beautiful, simple and effective.

OvaltinaTurner · 01/02/2020 19:29

Am late. Was doing a Chocolate run. How are you all?
