It would have been better if she'd got a taxi (re not checking transport CCTV footage) BUT that would have brought with it plot issues of its own. I guess the whole thing about the bus is that it's big enough to cover up what's going on on pavement side of it.

What if the bus CCTV footage has yet to come into things - perhaps it might show that the barrister did get on the bus? That would put the cat amongst the pigeons, as she now appears to be missing or perhaps the film itself may just go missing?

I did the same thing - shouted at the TV to check the CCTV on the bus. They could have cleared things up in seconds.

Yes, threads are very difficult if it’s all on iplayer as everyone is a different stages and it does spoil it a bit as you can’t really discuss anything that’s happening and have to avoid any spoilers. Can’t wait for next episode

I liked the first episode but wish it was only 3 or 4 in the series as in UK dramas you always seem to get a couple of padding episodes. Just hope this doesn't go the way of the Bodyguard.

Yep to CCTV on the bus and also I presume she not dead - or there's lots of flashbacks, as you don't get Laura Haddock in for 1 episode.

I don’t think she got on the bus. I think one of two things happened.

1. it was him and you’ll be lead down a path of suggesting he is being fitted up and you won’t find out until he gets off again.
   
2. He left her at the bus stop and someone else grabs her and assaults her.
   
   I think it may come out either way that he did indeed murder the Taliban guy.
