Who has seen e2? I’m going at tv pace. I don’t binge lol

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 04/09/2019 13:30

I've just watched episode 2 - thought it was ok & do love seeing the different perspectives of the same situation. Really not keen on the Joanie flash forwards though.

Findumdum1 · 04/09/2019 19:05

Cole / Joshua Jackson left the show shortly after Alison / Ruth Wilson did at the end of the last series Some.sort of fallout over pay.

I enjoy the Helen and Noah storyline, but I find all thenother ones annoying eg Janelle. And god remember the annoying French woman that was the worse! Pointless stories about people you never hear about again.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/09/2019 22:10

Guess she thought she was too big to bump off

I had planned to watch e2 earlier but now at work

Tomorrow hopefully

In 1 Joanie said she missed her dad. So do we find out what happened to him - assume died and she is now an orphan and screwed up

@Findum I quite liked the Janelle segment, I liked the depth brought to her exH. Turns out he's not the arsehole as we were perhaps lead to believe in season 4.

@Invisible. Loved the different perspectives too, it was a treat to have more than two perspectives this time.

Spoiler (a small one) below from episode 2 *

How creepy was Vic's funeral portrait in Janelle's perspective?! It gave me chills!

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 05/09/2019 09:07

Totally agree @ViserionTheDragon - very creepy indeed!

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/09/2019 13:20

@ViserionTheDragon if it’s been shown on tv this week it’s not a spoiler :)

It’s when people binge and mention something in say episode 6 when we are on 2/3

I love watching Helen in this. She is an amazing actress.

EachandEveryone · 08/09/2019 00:51

Well I downloaded it to watch on the plane and i was gutted I had to sit through the Joanie segment what a load of tosh. So boring. Who is the actor playing the actor?

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/09/2019 17:39

Claes Bang is SASHA. Danish. He reminds me of RUPERT Everest

I’m loving the future toilet. And telling you are pregnant etc

And off to find her dad. I’m assuming he died. Hence why she misses him

Clever plot apart from the 20yrs future

Does Noah really think he will get back with HELEN

OP posts:
ViserionTheDragon · 09/09/2019 19:06

Just finished watching the third episode. What did eveyone think? The last few minutes, including the trailer for next week made me very, very uncomfortable 😟

I don't think Noah will get Helen back.

EachandEveryone · 09/09/2019 19:50

I thought there had only been two episodes?🥺

Nonstopbuttmachine · 09/09/2019 20:28

I'm enjoying the whole story with Noah and Helen (and the toxic mother). That Sasha character though, love the way he's manipulating the filming Shock

Still haven't got a clue about the Joanie thing though Confused

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/09/2019 23:27

I thought 3rd was tomorow

If anyone is watching online /bingeing

Can we keep to the tv time scale please

One episode a week

And no spoilers

OP posts:
ViserionTheDragon · 09/09/2019 23:28

The third episode aired in the US on Sunday so it's around now.

Yep, very confused about the Joanie story, hopefully they will turn it around but I'm not so sure after watching that Confused.

The Noah/Helen et al story is great. Claes Bang (great name) has convinced me with his accent.

Whitney needs to dump the fiance.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/09/2019 14:30

Grrrrr as 70mins it clashes with the capture and Harrow

Will have to record it at 1,30am wed morning

Enjoying this, except the violent scene with Joannie. Glad Helen stood up to her awful mother.

V good scenes in posh restaurants with Helen and her mum and Noah and tired Witney. Witney needs MN!

What’s happened to the other two kids? We saw Witney and the teen son with glasses and redhead boyfriend, can’t even remember who the other two are!

Noah never learns eh. I still sometimes feel sorry for him, probably due to Dominic West’s charm and abilities, but he doesn’t help himself or others!

Liked the Janelle segment in the last episode, showing the discrimination she was facing and how this had affected her. Her ex is much more into her than Noah.

Loopytiles · 12/09/2019 07:48

Yes to Sasha looking a bit like Rupert Everett. V convincing as big movie star type.

EachandEveryone · 12/09/2019 14:40

Have you seen Noah in that new comedy Brassic? I love him with his Yorkshire accent ( even though hes probably an old Etonian or such like)

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/09/2019 15:04

Year as knee man 😂😂

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 12/09/2019 21:02

Yes good Helen say no to mum

Joanie seems on self district but not surprised due to her childhood

OP posts:
sonsmum · 13/09/2019 16:16

well i'm enjoying it. I think all the intertwined plot lines will play out very well in this last series. (so hoping it is not all ambiguous at the end)

I suspect Noah/Helen will get back together at the end. (janelle was used as the character to get in the line about loving who her husband is now, ie. he's grown as a person etc etc. Noah/Helen have grown given all they've done been through, plus they still have the connection of the kids)

I hope they explain what happened to Cole.
I like the Joanie sections. Her sections will keep us on our toes and keep us guessing until the end.

Witney, she's changed a lot in this series, from being strong willed/selfish to being a bit of a doormat. Thinking she may factor into the parents getting back together, or she will demonstrate that she is scarred by the affair repercussions.

The whole series is about relationships, not just the minute detail that Noah/Alison had an affair.
It shows that actions have consequences and can unintentially screw up impressionable others.

cccameron · 15/09/2019 20:22

I'm not enjoying the joanie bits at all though I'm hoping we get to find out what happened to Cole . I'm finding the Sasha actor just excruciatingly bad. He's really spoiling it for me. Helen / Noah stories really engaging as usual.

ViserionTheDragon · 15/09/2019 20:45

I do actually with Sons. I burst out laughing when Noah tells Sacha that he sounded too British in one of the scenes, given that Dominic West is a Brit Grin
