Couldn't see another thread for it. I'm hoping it's going to be good.

That bar though - mood board Art Deco emerald; reality - dirty moss with tassels like my nana had in the early 60s (probably).

Just seen the bar. I see her beloved sludge green has featured in the design again. I quite like the styling of it though and it goes quite well as a gin bar, but think it would have looked more luxurious if it was a dark emerald colour. I suppose that g
Emerald green is a bit cliched though with the gold, so maybe sludge was a better choice.

That bar looks very Mad Men. It looks better than before but only because the before was hideous.

I think it looks grim...as though it might smell of damp, elderly ladies.

I'm another who much preferred IDC! I really liked how they picked and gave you information about the different architecture, plus the focus on client satisfaction and the briefs etc.
I'm also looking forward to Your House Made Perfect!

I hate the colour green Cassie used in that bar. Green is not my favourite of colours anyway but that particular shade of it is vile

Wasn't keen on Cassie's designs in the TV show but I think the bar is beautiful.

I really really dislike her taste. That awful colour, those dowdy tassles. Eugh. The other aspects of the bar are fine but those just dominate and put me right off.

I like the bar, I think it works well in that venue.

It does change the nature of the competition though, actually it's about who was best suited to do a retro/vintage scheme for that particular bar, not who was 'best' overall

Funnily enough I do think that bar works - because it hasn't been done crappily on a tiny budget with a glue gun and a stapler and not enough time. It does actually look like a high-end design. Just shows what splashing the cash can achieve.

It's very much a muted tones/dark lighting kind of ambience, though. It might look not so good in strong daylight. And I suspect it will date quite quickly.

I actually like the majority of the bar, I was expecting to hate it haha. Not a fan of the tassels or that shade of green. I think the emerald would have worked better. I agree with PP who said having a decent budget and time probably helped.

It's worth a watch & the format is less frustrating than IDM!

I’ve just finished IDM.
I liked Cassie’s style, but I know I’m unusual in that.

I loved the last series of Your Home Made Perfect mainly because of how cross it makes dh.
