Has anyone else seen the first episode?

I watched all of season 1 again yesterday in preparation.

Merry Streep was really good and I love Reese Witherspoon.

I had predicted Celeste might be pregnant this series but apparently not.

Is Madeleine a career woman? She just seems to have cappuccinos most of the morning.

Oh I’d forgotten what that she occasionally shows someone round a house or appears in the office 😀

I still reckon that Bonnie is going to drop them in it?

Or Ed? Who keeps on going on and on to Madeline about being truthful and letting him in and that she's had this big secret with her girlfriends that she hasn't shared with him and then she probably will share and he'll betray her?

Or ..... something has to give here. As a pp said: They keep running with all these other sideline stories - Bonnie and the waves - which some are boring? and there's Gotta be a reason why they doing that? surely - are some of the other minor storylines going to come back into play?

Lets hope so ! or else this series would've been truly shite!! If there's no Big Bang, we'll all be left, saying to each other: 'was that IT'?

Interesting blind on Blind Gossip website which is clearly about BLL and the real reason why they aren't doing a 3rd season. Basically because the cast are very embarrassed about this series and how it's turned out...describes it as a shitshow! Poor writing, editing and (randomly) prosthetics which I can only assume refers to Meryl Streeps teeth But, in public, they are all saying they are too busy blah blah!

I fear they are not wrong...far too many huge jumps in the stories each episode. Really annoys me!

I wonder how much Meryl got paid?

I enjoyed the last episode-and I really hope Celeste socks it to Mary Louise in the last one.
Can't see how the rest of it will get wrapped up in one though.

Really love the music in both seasons-best thing about it.

Definitely something coming for M-L. Does Renata's au pair know something do you think? Or just evidence of the stupidity of her husband, who yes, of course, she should get rid of. Well, that scene with Bonnie's mother explained her mismatch with Nathan... V sad and I'm sure v true to life. Love Ed and Madeline.. Do we believe Corey?!

Humph I’m still enjoying this series. It’s not as good as the first obviously but still v watchable IMVHO.

I love it. Just wish there were more. Is there a chance it could be as simple as Bonnie's notebook could be found or.... Pushing it... Her mother comes to?

I wish there was a third series. There's something about the cast, setting and feeling of the series that is so beautiful! I'll really miss it when it's over.

I think Madeleine is the one who will crack so that she can be honest with Ed. Who will leave her anyway when he hears the truth. Bonnie will be arrested and Celeste will lose the kids anyway.

That will be....not exactly a happy ending!

I find it interesting/bizarre that a gm can sue for custody anyway and be heard over a DM.

I still like it, although I find it strange how they can all meet up for a coffee at the drop of a hat!

I hope in court there will be a big reveal

She must and Meryl's reaction would suggest she knows. The gloves are coming off. I'm not a bit surprised about the physics of the fall though...

I wonder if Meryl covered for her own husband being violent and dead husband was beaten by his father?

Somebody earlier on mentioned a strange woman coming on to Madeleine's husband. It was Tory, the wife of Madeleine's lover.
