Professionals who arrive on the street are always brought low in the end so no surprise that NuMum is working at Roy's rather than another professional setting e.g. extra hours at a hospital which would make sense as PP said. I'm not from Manchester but her accent also sounds v dodgy to me.

Agree that Max is a dreadful actor. Yes hopefully they will dispatch him to the same unit Ty was able to find for Hope within a few hours (referral times in Manchester obviously a world apart from those in the rest of the country). I find it odd that Shona talks in such a detached way about him losing his mum without even a flicker of sorrow or recognition that her son killed Kylie

You're right! I actually forgot it was her son who killed Kylie. That’s how little reference there is to it. Does Max know Clayton is Shona’s son? I’m surprised he hasn’t turned on Shona for that.

I don't think Max knows although it isn't really clear. I assume he'd mention it and show more hatred towards Shona if he did.
Everyone seems to have forgotten now though, including Shona. Not really surprising as Max's ADHD was miraculously fixed and forgotten overnight for several years until this storyline.

If he doesn't know they can't exactly just drop it into conversation now but as he gets older surely it will be impossible to hide.

I also forgot that his mum killed his bio dad and Aunty Sarah and David helped bury him under the patio. Hmm..maybe they should write all of this down and give it him in a letter for his 21st or something.

I do think he has a weird quiver in his voice like he's got the shakes or is nervous in front of the camera.

I also think the same about Shona. The whole story about her and David getting together is ridiculous.
On soaps everything is forgotten about.Including the babies and children until one is needed for a storyline.The quads, all four of them, will quickly vanish within a few weeks of being born.

When are these quads due? And what's the likelihood of her going into labour in Roy's Rolls or the Rover's in the usual Corrie way; no preliminary twinges, just full on agonising contractions from the word go.

The quads storyline turns the whole thing into a pantomime - although the multiple murders on one street help too.

Surely in RL quads would be delivered early by C/Section.
However yes She’s bound to go into labour in either Roy’s, The Rovers, Devs or The Kebab shop.
She’ll give birth to 2 boys and 2 girls, because That’s how it works on Soaps.
Any multiple births is always an equal number of boys and girls

I like Shona but the actress is woeful. She overacts in every scene and just swishes her ponytail about. My gast was flabbered when they asked Max if he was taking his medication and he said yes he had just got a new pack. Who would trust a 12 year old, (with behavioural issues) to take his meds properly without supervision, and would the chemist even dispense them to someone his age? And why on Earth didn't they just take Max outside when he kicked off at Lily's party instead of chucking all the guests out, did they just leave small children outside until their parents showed up? Maddening!

Wait until Max finds out his cousin Harry is also his half brother - will blow his mind!

He already knows. I remember Sarah saying something along the lines of Harry’s lucky to have a big brother like you. Mind you I don’t suppose the writers will remember a small detail like that. When they’re looking for another storyline

Deadringer the actress playing Shona irritates me.She stands behind the counter at Roy's with that big teapot and a deadpan expression on her face. When she is not doing that she, as you say, keeps swishing her pony tail or folding her arms.In company with Michelle and Nick in the arm folding.

Jutst how deluded is Robert? He thinks he's going to get away with seeing/shagging/becoming engaged to two women simultaneously. He thinks the cock and bull story about the "stolen" engagement ring will just die a death because he's given an explanation to Michelle and to Craig (but the explanations don't match). He gets blackmailed out of £2,000 but looks astonished when his blackmailer says he'll be back. He's never been a candidate for Brain of Britain, but he seems to have lost the plot entirely now. Any chance he'll just run away to escape the situation he's put himself if?

Poor Asha, she shouldn't have to ask for her own room. Adi could move in with Dev if he's so desperate to keep Mary. Ridiculous that twins are still sharing. Mine don't even share on holiday.
