I was a lurker on the last thread, I didn't post much, but I loved all of your comments. So the last one was full, here's another one

I came on and searched to see if there was anything about the Geoff/Jasmine storyline on here.

Having been in that kind of relationship for a long time (not now, thank God!) I'm finding it incredibly hard to watch.

It's very well done, particularly the fact that until he got together with Yasmine, Geoff always appeared to be a 'nice guy', and Yasmine was quite a tough cookie.

Just read that 'Emma' lost her Dad in 2016 to a heart attack - must have been really tough playing her role over recent days.

I know it’s not real but I’m actually tearing up for Emma here

And why have the new family turned half their staircase the wrong way?

I'm wracking my brain trying to remember who Morgan's dad was.

I too wondered about the new family’s renovations (still can’t remember their names), is that a door frame at the bottom of the wrong way round stairs, and if it is, where the hell does it go? Surely that is the party wall with Ken?

I agree that Max isn’t a very good actor and no doubt he’ll be replaced when the character is to be about 12, 13, as has happened with a lot of the child actors in all the soaps.

Not too sure about the new family's money problems. There was too much info for me to absorb this evening.

Yes, the new family's situation was a bit confusing. I like them as a family, but not sure where they are heading story-wise.

It feels as though I hav missed some episodes. The last I remember watching about Steve/Emma was when he managed to get some of her hair for DNA testing. Wasn't that on Monday? How come he has the results now?

As I understand it...

Dad gambled poorly, ran up debts.
Then he did it again, but worse.. instead of mum finding out a second time and divorcing dad, son 1 took the blame.

What dreadful actors the new husband & wife are. Their sons are good but they're dreadful

I think Morgan’s Dad was Alan McKenna. I remember the name, but I don’t remember much about him.

Steve is such a shitbag. Who in their right mind tells a young woman “hey surprise! I’m your dad!” While she’s in floods of tears at her dads funeral?

I don’t get why Tracey threw Steve out for being Emma’s Dad, it has nothing to do with their relationship and you’d think that she’d have sympathy rather than anger!

@Inappropriatefemale it didn't help that Steve started with "I've done nothing wrong"... "well it is another woman but nothing like that"... he wound her up before even telling her.

She also had no idea about Oliver when he was first born.

I can understand her frustration - her family dynamics are changing again and there's nothing she can do.

I agree about Max's acting, perhaps he will go to the school for naughty children that 'Ope is at, and come back with a new head. And fgs why couldn't the new family just be 'normal'?

Agree why couldn’t Steve just gone to Tracey straight away and said guess what my Mums just told me? I’m in total shock etc like a normal person would do and sat Amy down instead of shouting it out in the street?

Don’t like Ed and Aggie at all, he’s horrible for letting his son take the blame for his debts and she’s a harridan.

I hate the way that when new characters or families are introduced they always have to have 'problems'.
