I quite liked the Ben and his smother thing with Maria. That was funny. I have a feeling they may be back. (He has a look of the Hemsworths about him. Dd says he's far too good looking for Corrie)
I think Yan is either trying to get NBG out of modern slavery, or is undercover,, or escaping mafia. Either way, who cares?

They could have made the Maria's date story a bit more realistic if the mum had sneaked in and sat down near them, trying to eavesdrop. Even that's very unlikely, but to have her march in, introduce herself, and make a disparaging comment about Maria's looks was beyond ridiculous.

I think I'm done with Corrie now ladies. This evenings episodes (save for Evelyn) we're just utter shit. Fingers crossed they find a new writer soon.

I think Evelyn is awful especially to Roy it’s all a bit silly.

Could they be heading for a storyline with Roy and Evelyn getting together!? They're both good actors, so it would be......interesting! But there again, the writers aren't good, so it would probably be awful.
