I don't mean to be rude, but I'm going to be..

Writing a post and detailing who is leaving is spoilers. Yes it might have been mentioned online that people are going, it might be in magazines etc etc. But it's still a spoiler.

So I want you to know how much I thank you for your post full of info I didn't know...

Rule of thumb.. if it hasn't been broadcast, talking about it is a spoiler.

Off topic, but does this come to the top of 'threads I'm.on' when it gets updated? It doesn't for me

I think it depends how long it's been since you last posted here. I frequently drop off long-running threads if I've only been lurking for a while.

I believe threads in on only tracks ones you posted on in last 3 days. Might be worth watching thread, that always updates I believe.

We haven’t seen Eileen, Jan or Seb for ages and then they all reappear in the same scene! Like busses.

Really annoyed that David is in prison and Nick isn’t.

I struggle to see how Nick would get off without even a teeny bit of jail time, he lied under oath and I'm sure that's a crime in itself. Besides stealing thousands of pounds.

The mitigating circumstances of having a business to run and a family to be there for didn’t really hold true for me.

1. his business has another director and also Sarah managing it in both their absences. Nick hasn’t had anything to do with running the factory for ages. It would have survived a few months of him in prison.

2. nick isn’t the parent of either of Leanne’s children. They both have their fathers there to help Leanne raise them. David’s children are technically motherless. Shona and he aren’t married, no-one but David has parental responsibility for them. I think the “family” argument was extremely weak when compared with David’s family situation.

Pretty ridiculous I think! But isn't that what script writers manage to do every time

I despair of Coronation Street writers. So Nick openly admits to perjury and isn't charged with it? As pp said the family reasons quoted were ridiculous. Hes in an on/off relationship & has no children. He hasn't been near his business for months & his brain injury has no impact on his day to day life & hes admitted stealing Audrey's money but the idiot judge let's him walk free

David's involvement was far less & hes tried to resolve things with Audrey. Hes a single parent & he gets jailed

Dont the writers do any research into the law or have legal advisors? Its becoming an insult to viewers intelligence
