I keep thinking that I need to watch the early series again. I was smacked off my face on codeine when I binge watched it a few weeks ago!

People keep saying that 'H' may not be a person and may be a place. That makes no sense at all in the context of the storylines in any of the series. It's always been about rooting out the 'bent coppers' at the top of tree. Identifying a place starting with H just won't cut it for me.

I think the identify of Mrs Hastings new man will be important somehow....

I am so excited for Sunday, I really hope we get a good ending that ties up all the loose ends. There being another season makes me think that maybe we won't and we will be left hanging.

No it won't be all neatly wrapped up or season 6 would fall flat. I reckon we will get some answers but not all and maybe a cliffhanger...

I’m on a rewatch and in series 1 Nige says to Gates about “...all the crap you took at hendon”. Do we think it all links back to Hendon and H is a place rather than a person.

I can’t imagine Hilton being H as he’s too draft and dopey. A bit too Mr Bean to be a criminal mastermind.

Jed Mercurio has tweeted that he will not be writing a Series 6. He has been quite vehement about this, and is pretty pissed off at the journalist who had claimed there will be a series 6 and 7.

I understood his tweet to mean that he's not currently writing S6. And that he was pissed at the journo for claiming MC had been offered another 2 seasons not pissed that the journo is claiming there will be S6 and S7.

The BBC ordered a 6th series - it was being talked about more than a year ago. I guess JM might not be writing it? Unless it is to get more viewers for the series ending. Whole different ball game if there is no series 6

Series 6 is happening, but I think what Jed meant was he hadn’t started writing it yet. I understand that there needs to be a conversation with the BBC About if there will be one more series or two. I can see he’d be annoyed with that article, puts him in a poorer bargaining position with the Beeb.

In other news, my CHIS failed me regarding the intel on Sunday’s cast list. I apologise unreservedly.
