Checking in. Really need to binge the whole 5 series, can't wait till Sunday.

MyRankIsSuperintendent · 29/04/2019 21:19

Watching the first series again. Don't they look young? Grin

UCOinanOCG · 29/04/2019 21:25

Thanks mate!

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 29/04/2019 21:28

@IamHyouweegobshite
Excellent username!

Do we forsee a Spartacus moment, when all of AC 12 stands up and says
"I'm H"
"no, I'm H"
Etc

yumyumpoppycat · 29/04/2019 21:34

Wasn't Ted prepped along with everyone else then about the spelling? I must have dashed out to make a cup of tea at a vital moment!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 29/04/2019 21:35

We need somebody to go in undercover at Broadcasting House, find the tape/disc/hard drive with the final episode of LoD6 & smuggle it out.
Any volunteers Grin

CheekyWeeGobshite · 29/04/2019 21:36

It's not Ted. It's definitely not Ted. I'm starting to feel a bit suspicious about Kate, God help me.

JamesBoredom · 29/04/2019 21:38

Checking in.

You alright, mate?

WhoWants2Know · 29/04/2019 21:38

Thinking about when Steve and Kate met with Tatleen to discuss Corbett's background. Am I right in thinking Anne Marie was a confidential and informant for the RUC (is that the right abbreviation?) and disappeared shortly after Ted was hospitalised by the pipe bomb?

Is it that she was Ted's CI and John blamed him for her disappearance, without realising Ted had been blown up?

MrsChollySawcutt · 29/04/2019 21:40

Don't see how or why Jackie Laverty would be Anne Marie? Laverty was her married name but according to Tony Gates her maiden name was O'Connor.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 29/04/2019 21:41

Hmm as mentioned on previous threads Tatleen appears every time an important piece of evidence is found. Well she usually finds it.

JamesBoredom · 29/04/2019 21:42

Ann-Marie is/ was too old to be Laverty, I think.

BitOfFun · 29/04/2019 21:43

Reporting for duty. I shall bring my Police Federation rep too.

CMB11 · 29/04/2019 21:45

Game of thrones!!!! ShockShockShock

JamesBoredom · 29/04/2019 21:47

Wouldn’t it be lovely if Ted uncovered who H was, and then they all popped up at various intervals with different letters until they’d spelt out, Happy Retirement Gaffer’ and it had all been an elaborate rouse to give Ted a ruddy good send off?

TrixieFranklin · 29/04/2019 21:51

i really hope its not ted

jamiecooks · 29/04/2019 22:09

Sorry if this been mentioned before but right at very end series 2 where they’re mopping up what’s happened to everyone there’s a scene with Morton (Nige) and an envelope of cash with someone who looks suspiciously like Moffat from the back....

jamiecooks · 29/04/2019 22:18

Oh and is it all connected to child abuse - Peartree, Yewtree.....

Northumberlandlass · 29/04/2019 22:27

Beeeeeeeeep
I’m still here with my rubbish theories.

jessicawessica · 29/04/2019 22:32

bibbity...that's why I thought Ted was just spying on the conversations on his laptop, not actually participating. He would have seen that definitely was spelled wrong, so knew to drop in into the typed conversation later on purpose to convince Lisa/ John that they were talking to H.

TedsFederationRep · 29/04/2019 22:40

Reporting for duty, ma'am!

Jessica, wasn't there a moment when Ted burst in and said something like "we'll set up surveillance on the nightclub" and Kate and Steve looked startled because they had been discussing the same idea, and Ted reproved them with "I do read everything, you know"? That might have been a reference to the laptop messages. He might be adopting a bemused expression in this series, but the brain is still just as sharp.

NigesBlueBadge · 29/04/2019 22:41

sir. Maam. Mate.
As you were

BoldMeDontAtMe · 29/04/2019 22:45
