Been mulling over this. Here's my view.

We, as viewers, cannot be certain that Ted didn't order Corbett's murder. There's the prison visit and the 'close this now' order. The Fahrenheit order can be explained away as Steve's life was in danger.

So we are meant to be torn between good Ted and bad Ted. And the reveal will revolve about this not H's identity.

But Ted is not H. He is being set up by the real criminals higher up. They know the doubts over John's murder and are using this to frame him. That and the DNA they've stolen from him.

Yes to a PP who suggested Jackie's body will have been used to plant dna (so implicating Gill, even if they didn't shag to get condom, she used his bathroom so could have taken dna from his toothbrush).

I'm not convinced that Carmichael is bad but Gill is.

Does it? I was only surprised to see Corbett's name but I imagine it's a flash back as I doubt he survived the throat slitting. There are a few names I don't recognise though.

Just watched S1 -4 again, for the third time. Husband says I am way over invested in LoD.
Also, some really good points made in the Shrine of Duty podcast. I'm going to re watch the last episode.

I think regarding Kate it's more like why are they showing these family scenes? Why put them back together to break up for the same reason?

I wonder if this will be like season 1. At the end there will be some conclusion re Hastings and then we see one of the OCG contact H and the screen pulls back to reveal who it is.
