I've saved the goop from the tin of chick peas I used today. It looks like some sort of specimen. I'm not at all sure I'm brave enough to actually use it.

There was a great British bake off episode in the most recent season where they explained aqua faba in a bit more detail.
Ime some chick pea water is too watery and some is too salty.
But I might be buying cheap chick peas.

The Lurrrvve Doctor seems to be their favourite....a plate of fried peppers and some dry looking bread sticks, very poor effort.

Gregg was at a pencil factory yesterday. The Radio Times writer obviously rates him as highly as we do: "Gregg's world is rocked when he finds out that pencils are made from graphite. You can almost hear the cogs of his brain wheezing to a halt as he's forced to mentally erase all the "lead in his pencil" puns he was going to make. And the surprises keep coming: "Haitch B - haitch means hard and B means black?!" A warning now: he says "haitch", not "aitch". A lot. So be prepared if that grinds your gears". Is David Brown any of you? I don't know if he made it to the real Pencil Museum but just to be clear, it is somewhere I never want to visit.
