Anybody else planning to watch tonight? Part 1 of 2, 9pm, Channel 4.

I'm very intrigued to watch. I remember the Martin Bashir documentary being aired years ago, and the various backlashes/criticisms that happened afterwards.

Two Mexican boys from the 80's (buried due to MJ about to get some award from the President).

Source please gluteus - don't say Daily Fail or Mirror. It has already been debunked.

Hushnownobodycares · 09/03/2019 21:11

hushnow where did you hear about other victims coming forward?

popculture.com/celebrity/2019/03/09/michael-jackson-body-could-be-exhumed-dna-tests-new-accusations/

This link cites 11 more so far.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 09/03/2019 21:11

I’m glad someone mentioned Gloria Hunniford on here, I very nearly threw something at the telly after seeing her comments on LW. Utterly vile. As for Mark Lester, i’m a bit suspicious as to MJs motivation to befriend him, I wonder if he was trying to add “Little Oliver” to his collection, albeit belatedly.

C0untDucku1a · 09/03/2019 21:12

I dont get the doubt at all. Im 40. I was a tween / teen in the 90’s. I always thought it was common knowledge he was a paedophile.

teyem · 09/03/2019 21:13

I think that some people aren't good at keeping themselves or their children safe because they are vulnerable to manipulation for the reasons I stated in my first post which is not to say they are stupid or self-absorbed.

greenpop21 · 09/03/2019 21:16

Thank you pickled limes just watched the Oprah interview.

Has only deepened my belief that Wade and James are victims and anyone seeking to defend Jackson needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

mysticpizza · 09/03/2019 21:27

And I think that sounds suspiciously like holding collateral victims of predators to blame.

Terry George (phone sex claim) FBI found nothing.
vault.fbi.gov/Michael%20Jackson/Michael%20Jackson%20Part%2001%20of%2007/view

Michael Jacobshagen
He wrote a book about spending time with MJ - Will you be my friend?. He sold MJ memoribilia with fake signatures. The German programme Akte investigated.
(doesn't mean he is lying about this but he was reported to the German police for scamming)

There is no source for the new 11 cases, just an 'insider'. Wait and see.

You have

  1. Jordan Chandler
  2. Jason Francia
  3. Gavin Arvizo
  4. Wade Robson
  5. James Safechuck
(6. Michael Jacobshagen)

Anton Schleiter and his sister recently defended Jackson in an open letter, having previously refused to comment.

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 09/03/2019 21:34

memorabilia. even

another poster luna said there were two more settlements (aside from Chandler/Francia) but doesn't have a source yet, although thought/read there could be up to 20 payoffs, source req.

Sonicknuckles · 09/03/2019 21:39

It makes me wonder if that doctor murdered MJ

HowlsMovingBungalow · 09/03/2019 21:48

Didn't the doctor publish a book after his release from jail?
Haven't read it or any other books on MJ. I refuse to add any money to this shitshow.

The80sweregreat · 09/03/2019 21:49

The Doctor tried to give MJ heart compressions whilst he was lying on a bed. He should have laid him on the floor first apparently.
I had to do a first aid course with work and the man running it told us this as this is the only way it would have / might have worked.
Not sure how true this is however.

Hushnownobodycares · 09/03/2019 21:51

I don't think MJ was murdered. I think it was a genuine overdose (prescription drugs IIRC?) for a man who'd weakened himself with repeated cosmetic surgery and subsequent repairs for many years.

WhatNow40 · 09/03/2019 21:51

I've not commented until now but watched both parts and read the full thread. I believe them. I also believe not every child he had access to was abused. I believe he was grooming them all, then choosing those whom he knew he had a total hold over (family and child).

Anton Schleiter has defended MJ, making his first statement, linked up thread. What's interesting is that his parents refused to allow MJ to pay for schooling. They weren't completely dependant on him in the way Wade and James' families were. Not just financial but in terms of the lifestyle. For those who have not been abused, only their families can begin to guess what they might have said/done that resulted in protecting their boys.

certainlymerry · 09/03/2019 21:52

LaToya , his sister, came out and said she thought he was a paedophile years ago. His father sexually abused her also.

The80sweregreat · 09/03/2019 21:54

This first aider guy was adamant that if he had carried out heart compressions properly on a hard floor he may have saved him?
I have no idea , but it seems a school boy error from a registered doctor.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 09/03/2019 21:56

Prescription drugs? He was addicted to Propofol - the drug that knocks you out for operations.

teatimez · 09/03/2019 21:56

rageagainst

Scott Ross.
Scott was the private investigator for the defence and questioned Wade for 4 hours 2005. He says he didn't have any fondness for MJ nor did he always agree with Tom Mesereau but he does not believe Wade.

Sorry I misread your post. My apologies.

So Scott Ross worked on the defence team - he would have been rewarded handsomely I think we can assume he had skin in the game so him not believing Wade is neither here nor there for me.

Re oprah

I thought the Oprah interview was excellent and having other survivors there was excellent.

Hopefully the Oprah interview has further debunked some myths.

Harrowing hearing James and Wade though.

Again from the documentary and all the circumstantial evidence it is all so credible.

The poor victims.

teatimez · 09/03/2019 21:58

I agree whatnow40

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 09/03/2019 21:59

sonic Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and served 2 years - the same Scott Ross who worked for the defence in Jackson's 2005 trial worked in Murray's defence.

Angeladelight · 09/03/2019 22:00

I believe them both. Sad to see some of the comments on this thread. I was sexually abused as a child and not believed. I even did “the right” thing and told my family straight away. I’m not sure what more I could have done. What more could Wade and James have done, particularly given the fact they were groomed and conditioned for years?

Hushnownobodycares · 09/03/2019 22:01

Still prescribed for him though? Even though there's no doubt he was paying a qualified middleman to get what he wanted.

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 09/03/2019 22:02

You's think so teatimez but as shown above, defending Conrad Murray, he has no loyalty to Jackson. His skin in the game in actual fact would be his loyalty to Shane.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 09/03/2019 22:02

Flowers Angeladelight

FiddleFaddleDingDong · 09/03/2019 22:03

I'm sorry that happened to you, Angela, and I'm so sorry that your family let you down in the worst way possible. To not believe your own child when they have the courage to tell you something like that is unforgivable.
