Dylan was adorable though...

RedForShort · 06/04/2019 22:32

Overtly worried son: who's the actor, what's he been in? Tell me!!! Before I go insane!!!!!!

OP posts:
Elzbells · 06/04/2019 22:34

Yes! And me. Spent the whole episode saying I know that bloke!

Luckyguess · 06/04/2019 22:36

Call The Midwife, he was Cummy's husband.

Elzbells · 06/04/2019 22:42

Yes! The policemen. Just wasted 10 minutes looking that up 🙄

RedForShort · 06/04/2019 22:54

Thank you!! Was driving me round the twist.

So lovely of Dylan. Of course Jacob turns up just in time to stick his beak in. Hope David doesn't get in trouble. Charlie really is the worst actor..

spiderlight · 07/04/2019 11:13

Cummy!!! Grin

We did wonder about Charlie too... His behaviour is very erratic...

Poor David, he was great. And I'm sniggering at Cummy too!

MS patient clearly nobody cares, when there's so much chaos with the staff. Writers just swept that under the carpet. There are lot of issues down there atm!

purpleme12 · 07/04/2019 12:41

I don't think Charlie is a great actor either but I thought he did scary agression quite well!

MrsBosh · 07/04/2019 15:16

Did I miss where Louise is at the moment? Not seen her for ages!
I quite liked Jade in this week's episode.

Glad Dr Archie and Dr Locum were nowhere to be seen. Someone said it last week but he looks much too young to be applying for consultant jobs. A consultant would have to be early-mid 30s at minimum I reckon.

Loved Iain's brooding face.

What do we think is going to be the storyline with Ruby and Dani? Stalker?

SoupDragon · 07/04/2019 15:21

She quit after giving full notice and working her notice period.

No, just kidding, she quit and walked out the same day.

QueenofmyPrinces · 07/04/2019 15:45

Did anyone else wonder why Rash had the passports posted to him at work??

I certainly don’t get my post delivered to my place of work....

Dani is definitely going to turn into a stalker.......and it will eventually lead to her saying that she and Ruby are
In a sexual relationship and Ruby will be hauled over the coals for abuse of her position etc etc

MrsBosh · 07/04/2019 15:49

Thanks, SoupDragon - must've missed that one! Yeah, I don't think they have notice periods at the Holby Trust Wink.

You're right, Queen, and Noel really shouldn't have given him Gem's as surely it would be private and confidential. It's like when Alicia got her offer letter of her Manchester thing and it was delivered to work. Of course she opened it in the middle of the department. She left the same day I think Grin.

Locum was at med school with Ethan so presumably they're similar ages and Ethan's been a consultant for a while (and, indeed, clinical lead!).

Holby is in a different time zone to the rest of the world. Time works differently there - I presume it's something peculiar at a quantum level localised pockets of dark matter influencing gravity and time, or something. That's why staff can leave the same day, or make miraculous recoveries (Iain physically fit for work already?!).

Luckyguess · 07/04/2019 19:27

Cummy!!!Grin
Never was any good at phonics 🤣🤣🤣 especially after a glass or three🥂

thaegumathteth · 10/04/2019 20:00

Hoping you can help me ! I’ve obviously missed / forgotten a bit - who is the girl being weird with Ruby?

QueenofmyPrinces · 10/04/2019 20:20

She’s the daughter of a woman who died in a show a few weeks ago.

Ruby went to the woman’s house and she had a little long term health condition, possibly MS (I can’t remember) and her daughter had called for an ambulance as her mum was unwell.

The woman died later in the show and Ruby was a shoulder to cry on for the daughter and then gave her a lift home. Ruby then told the girl, “you have my number if ever you need anything” and that leads us into the stalker storyline.

DiseasesOfTheSheep · 10/04/2019 20:41

MND - the mother had MND Sad

Jan warned Ruby about getting too close...

thaegumathteth · 10/04/2019 23:13

Thank you. I vaguely remember the storyline now.

Isitmybathtimeyet · 11/04/2019 10:55

We did a bit of shouting at the screen about Charlie's diatribe at Connie on the pressures and 'realities' of the ED. The staff spend half their time chatting!

Bobbindobbin · 13/04/2019 21:05

Charlie is a wank cheese! Poor poor David
