Why is Gem pissed off with Rash? I get that she refused to accept at first that Iain had taken an overdose, and was angry when he seemed more inclined to believe the doctors when they said it was a possibility. But now she knows that that's what DID happen, why is she still angry with him?

Yea, I mean realism is an alien concept in Holby - I didn't think they still used pre-cordial thumps in those circumstances either, but it does look suitably violent and fits in with their nice "make Iain a CT surgical case" plot!

Just caught up with the Holby episode. Not being a Holby viewer normally (never got into it) I was surprised how Fletch had climbed the NHS ranks since his days in the ED. Overall a worthwhile idea but for viewers who only watch one or the other (and I can see from here that I’m not alone) it would have been a bit confusing. Finally I knew that if I came here someone could give me the Holly story. Thanks.

Caught some Casualty episodes from about 3 years ago on Drama channel. Rita has just left and in her final episode one of the characters was played by the same actor who plays Duffy's blast from the past who was in it recently. Amazing reincarnation, as he died in the episode I watched today :)

We had a laugh about that too, SweetestThing... No more old Casualty on Drama though - it's old Holby with Anton Meyer and the lovely Nick Jordan from next week.
