Glad it's not just me who is bored of Casualty currently. Avoided the last three eps as the Mason F1 character and what he was doing to Rash was making me feel really sad and cross.
I caught a bit last week with Ian telling Ruby he was applying to HEMS and DH joked he'd be flying the helicopter next week. Sounds about true...

Is it really likely that A&E departments don't wipe off patients' blood when they've finished treating them? Rosa was stitched up and allowed to leave with blood still on her temple/cheek, and the McGann bloke still had bloodstains down his chin and neck after they'd sorted him out.

I thought it was odd that he had blood on his face still. Don't think they normally do that.

At the end I just thought it's so bad to give a kitten as a surprise gift!!

I had to go to a&e with a severe nosebleed and they didn't clean the blood off me.

It did make me laugh at the beginning when David was playing with Ollie and he even had his bumbag on then

I quite like David, I'd put him and Jan second to Dylan, with Rosa looking pretty promising.

A thought - have they introduced a Spanish and Italian character with a view to a Brexit storyline? Though it would be hellish difficult to know how to write that one in advance.

The scene where Dylan and David were described as Grim Reapers (or whatever term was used) and the excuses they have made me really laugh. I just found it really funny

I’m glad that Mason got taken down a peg or two but he’s still really annoying!!

Did we ever find out what happened to that man and his leg? I don’t remember seeing the outcome?? Not sure what the point of the leg storyline was to be honest? It did make me smile that they were trying to pass his girlfriend off as 43 because she looked fat, far younger than that to me

No she's not been written out. It's just like what happens sometimes they're featured a lot then others times not so much, if at all

Something is very off about Mason but I can't work out what it is. Ethan needs to leave Effie alone and stop being such an inappropriate sleaze. I'm bored of the Ollie storyline - so very very bored.

I actually really enjoyed that episode. I had a glimmer of hope that we’d see a nice side to Mason, where he’d acknowledge what he did and accept the responsibility and feel genuinely remorseful, but sadly not.

The Effie thing is really odd.....I mean she’s quite young isn’t she and Ethan must be well into his 30’s??

Ethan is a sleaze. When Effie was first introduced, something was said about a university open day, so I'm going with really quite young! But it's the fact that she's his patient, and seems so, so vulnerable that makes it so incredibly sleazy - like she's fighting for air and he's just thinking how hot she is???

That’s what I based my ‘she’s young’ comment on too. They also dress her character as young and she has a young naivety to her as well..and a teenage petulance about her too. For various reasons she just comes across as being young

They went to university together but I’m sure his friend is quite a bit older than Ethan if I can remember correctly...

I think they mentioned the dad being a mature student? He's definitely alot older than Ethan and she is notably younger. It's all a bit sleazy.
