No idea re the plot, I am a bit lost.... But agree Alice seems a bit off.

I was amazed Jimmy revealed the plan to Alice so casually. Was avidly watching then disturbed by DP coming in - clearly I missed a vital few minutes of TV. I guess he told her because he's fallen hook, line and sinker for her and feels he can trust her? It can only really be Alice and/or her husband, as there are scarcely any other potential suspects left in the frame (aside from the Glasgow based 'Mr Flash').

Poor Duncan...and poor Jimmy too if Alice turns out to be a wrong'un.

How odd as I also missed it completely and had to watch it again to find out.
I think I was concentrating on the romantic side rather than looking at it from a crime POV.

Ah horrible ending to this episode Sad I really hope Alice isn't a wrong un. Jimmy happy with life wouldnt suit the tone of the show though. So maybe.

Oof, that was a tad dramatic! There was something a bit odd about Duncan waking up on the beach etc... he does seem to be a bit out of control, I think there'll be more to come of why he was there etc (beyond the drinking so much he just passed out there bit).

You'd assume it was Alice who sent the text as she's the only one who knew about it. But it was strange they showed the phone number so clearly, don't they usually blur stuff like that out? Makes me wonder if we were meant to recognise part of the number or anything... though I think that's a bit too out there!

Yes. Duncan was on a totally different beach than the one he was on when taking to Jimmy.

Have we seen anyone else's telephone numbers displayed during this series. The number is there for all to see near the end of episode 5 - it's 07700900430.

Ha DaisyStarbust....CBA to go back through the episodes to see whose number it is but trying to think of telephone conversations there have been. Would have thought that showing the number is significant to the plot.

I don't know about "unpleasant" but in the last seen she seemed very off. Was she looking out to sea to see if the boat with the new people was coming??

She has a shifty smile I think , doesnt reach her eyes.
But I am hopeless at these things, I go by instinct not fact! Will be sad when its finished, they are too short.
