I've just spent a wonderful hour ogling Mr Donny Osmond . The vid is fantastic, fantastic, FANTASTIC

Absloutely hate, hate, HATE the bloody knee length white socks though, and am dreading seeing them on Lee.

Must say though that Mr Osmond is very impressive. I had to explain to dd that when I was her age I was writing fan letters to him. She looked at me and said "But why? "

She's very taken with Mrs Potiphar and is walking around swinging her hips and mimicing her saying "come and lie with me love", then "pity"

She is desperately trying to understand why Potiphar threw Joseph into jail and keeps asking questions to try to clarify it..... "so she didn't want to kiss her husband, but wanted to kiss Joseph?? that's weird!"

I drink it from a pint glass... a normal glass of wine topped up with about 3/4 pint of sparkling water.

Oohhh ooohhhhh I got the signed photo's back today from Lee. Actually dd got them as I'd addressed the sae to her, but when we picked it up from the post box I was so eager to open it that dd had to stop me and say "but Muuummmmmm, it's addressed to me".

I'm positive that Lee himself put them in the envelope so I can't bear to throw it away.

Will try to scan it tomorrow, but still need to know how to put a photo onto a link with no trail.......

phhhfff..... they're not actually signed specifically to me and dd......just signed photos........

I was hoping that the combination of dd's multicoloured letter (painstakingly done on the computer by me (I know, I know )), the fact that she (I ) asked for it to be signed to oggs as it was "Mummy's birthday the day after yours and it would be a nice surprise" , and the handmade birthday card, would elicit a personal response. But no chance.

It is actually a signed (not photocopied) picture (photocopy), but not quite what I was hoping for... if you see what I mean. Not the CADM face I was hoping for either

Ah well, it may not be the perfect signed picture, but it is a signed picture nonetheless. Sounds like you put a lot of work into the card and letter while you neglected your poor chickens.

Have a skirt on this very minute but am going to swap it for jeans just as soon as I can be bothered to iron them...maybe I won't iron them... have a friend coming to lunch and am trying to pretend that I live in a clean house with ironed clothes. Have changed the shower curtain for a non mouldy one. Squitred the basin with cleaner last night but couldn't be arsed to wipe it thinking it might do...it didn't. Scrubbed the kitchen floor last night thinking I'll sweep it properly tomorrow Sofa cushions in the washer...er...clothes mountain on bedroom floor now on bed where they are out of sight ...visible bits of fridge wiped...need to do the kettle.
So! just need to iron some clothes, wipe round and hoover (edges today)

Oh don't ask...my friend always does me something clever, spicy lentil and lime soup,honeyed, chargrilled vegetables on bruscetta and always homemade cake or pudding.
I've got some nice bread, cold meat, cheese bit of salad I can cook but I just don't have the inclination I'm thinking of nipping to the next village to buy a cake from the cafe, they are really nice, and passing it off!
As dh said (quite surprisingly) she's coming for the friendship not the food!
