Katie died off-screen. It was very weird. Presumably they'd promised an acting role to Hawp's twin and couldn't be bothered to invent another child so they killed off Katie so he could be Jawsiff.

The ‘mystery’ of Roy’s mums ring is the least exciting story by a country mile, his mum wasn’t a long term character so why should we really care about her previous life? Plus I know a lot of viewers like Roy but my god, he’s boring and most storylines involving him are as boring too.

I don't think Corrie are ever capable of hiring actors who are remotely scary as drug dealers.

@Walney and drug dealers don’t even always necessarily look like drug dealers at all, or look like what people think a dealer should look like.

Remember we were all supposed to be terrified of Calum, christ he was about as frightening as a baby with a rattle.
