Oh my good god. Just coming to the end of the first new episode. Thrilling.

I would have thought that a concrete house is fairly well sound insulated, but not only did Mrs Dr Psycho (on top floor of house) hear fridge woman scream in the basement, but while in the basement, she also heard the car pull up outside.

It was annoying me that the secretary just let Halliday into the office full of confidential files to look for her glasses.

And there are Hampstead Heath Woods across the road from the Heath. Maybe they were referring to there?:

The woods are definitely spookier than the main bit, but only marginally more unsettling than some of the performance parenting I've seen on Parliament Hill...

Except having lived in north London for over 50 years no-one ever refers to Hampstead Woods.
There is Highgate wood which is not connected.

I think now Alice has killed that gangsters son there can't be a happy ending for her and Luther, I think she's going to have to die at the end of this series, do we know if there's plans for another one after or is this like the finale?

This isn't quite formulated in my mind right yet but I had a thought that the killer surgeon and his wife seem to be a similar situation to Luther and Alice in a more extreme way, like Luther know Alice has killed, but he loves her and he sort of over looks these things and even puts other people's lives in danger to save her and keep her safe and risks his own neck/career for her even though he's fundamentally a 'goody'

Have I got something there or am I just sleep deprived and looking too much into it? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know if this has been said in the last 24 hrs because you guys are wonderfully chatty! I just finished and I think the HN is actually someone who suffers from Stockholm Syndrome.

Also, I feel really sorry for George’s cleaners. He must redecorate a lot.

Not saying the surgeon or his wife are 'goodies' but there like a more advanced version of Luther and Alice if they were together 🤔

I know these things always have plot holes -I feel I need to go back to the bus scene and rewatch the passengers and where they were seated,and when they got off after reading a previous post.But it really stretched credibility that the heavies would just let Alice in so easily when tasked with protecting a big gangster boss.No wonder he was annoyed !

George has to die to keep Alice safe and Luther after killing his son

I felt a bit sorry for George, horrible old violent gangster that he is. She didn’t need to kill his son. Still, in his line of work he should know there’s always someone nastier than you round the corner.

Maybe Schenk will kill George, perhaps dying as well in the process, protecting the flawed Luther in the process. L and A then “free” but L panged with guilt cos he’s lost all his team because they were protecting him.

I don't think Benny's description was detailed enough to be worth dying for.

(My wildest theory is that this will be the last ever episode, with Alice killing Luther (prob to spare him from a fate worse than death))

Idris is still trying to get a film made so I doubt Luther will die. Alice, maybe. Schenk, maybe... 🤷🏽‍♀️
