Why the heck has her husband got a beard ,didn't think this was allowed in the British Army then . It seems anachronistic as all the other period details seem to be spot on .

Really enjoyed that. Fascinating story. Loved the setting and period details. I'm sure so many things were fudged during and post war, records lost etc. And Ruth Wilson is a phenomenal actress.
