I cannot believe Sally has been sent down, such a horrible unnecessary storyline.

Why have they turned Brian into a wuss? He used to be a confident bullish character and was headteacher, he would have firnefss/contacts in education in the local area so why change him to be weak and scared of that new teacher?

I think Imran is going to be the father of Kate and Rama’s baby.

I am enjoying seeing screen time for Adam, also I like Angie and seeing her act now, and I thought it was nice to see Mary and Bethany together as they have a sweet friendship but am dreading the inevitable return of Jude.

I was thinking Imran too as it would mean Rana would be biologically related to the baby. Is it a bit icky though? He would be the baby's father and his uncle? And Rana would be the baby's mum and it's Auntie, or is this all normal now?

It happened in Neighbours a while ago, where one character agreed to be a surrogate for someone else's child, so I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happened in Corrie. Although I was thinking more along the lines of Robert being a donor, as he seems keen for children.

I'm so fed up of Rana's constant moping! Every time Kate talks about the baby... ok, every time Kate talks... she's grinning away with a plainly forced smile (I can't believe that nobody has picked up on it... not even her brother) and then as soon as Kate isn't looking and the scene is ending, her face falls and the TV is filled by one giant frown! I don't know what it is, but why can't Corrie just be happy for once!

I think her brother is aware that she doesn't really want a child. They've talked about it, haven't they?

I don't think he'd do it. He's made it clear he thinks it's a bad idea as he knows Rana's heart isn't in it. I reckon Robert will end up offering to Father the baby as it's a bit of a coincidence that there's all these references to him wanting a baby.

That whole thing was so annoying. They had been engaged for 30 seconds and Kate starts telling the whole pub they are going to have a baby. Without talking to Rana first and surely they’d be more excited about the wedding first. They are about 23!

As mentioned upthread, Mary Portas has a brother who was sperm donor for Mary's partner, so the baby is her partner's but also linked genetically to her too. Makes sense, really. The Imran thing would be the same. Nor sure he would agree to it, though.

It makes sense for Rana I suppose but wouldn't it be weird for the child in the future, that it's mum is it's aunt and it's dad is it's uncle? Maybe not, i am an old gimmer after all. Hopefully Robert won't offer, michelle isn't likely to be pleased and I don't think I could take the tsunami of eye rolling and arm folding that would ensue.

I have watching it but can’t get my head around how Sally took the blame for the stolen money. I know there was something to do with the mobile phone which indicated they had an affair and also a grand was transferred to Sally’s account which Tim made out was has bonus. Surely there must have been more evidence against her than that for her to be imprisoned and for the guy to get off lightly. Wouldn’t there be evidence to show that he applied for the money and that it went into an account that he set up? Even if they did have an affair it’s not a criminal offence! I obviously haven’t been paying enough attention!

Yes, PizzaPlanet, I was thinking the same. Would someone go to prison for 4 years because of someone else's lies? What about the burden of proof? As pp have said, Tim and Steve went to Fraud Man's fake office, didn't they?

I believe, though I my be wrong, but the evidence was basically faked by Mr Pro Conman.
He opened an account in both their names and claimed Sally made him do it... cause Sally is a threatening presence..
He bought secret mobile phones.
He booked hotels and somehow used her bank card.
He transferred £1000 to Tims account, which Tim spent.

But theres no mention of where the rest of the money went. No CCTV footage of silly at hotels. No real proof she ever used the mobile phones. There is proof she didn't go to the hotel's though.

In the real world, it wouldn't stand up in court I don't think, but in Corrie, I'm surprised she didn't get the death penalty.

Oh come on!! This is just awful. As if late would barge into an examination room to discuss adoption that she thought up 5 minutes ago. Do better Corrie. No-one is buying this. There are better ways to ends relationships.

Kate would never have been allowed through to the treatment rooms. My GP surgery is very rural and small, and even there they have keypad locks.

I was going to say the same; it's utterly ridiculous that she would barge into someone's workplace to carry on with a rant that had taken place earlier. I actually pity the child, if ever they get one, who will have such an immature parent.
