Johnny. Kate asked him for money to start IVF. He seemed reluctant. Rita has just convinced him to pay for it.

Surely it would make more sense for Kate to carry the pregnancy. Rana must be the higher earner, being a Practice Nurse. Kate is a waitress in a family business, so a much more flexible option re time off for appointments etc.

I really thought that Tim was going to shove Gina straight out the door after what she said. I don't like where this story line is going at all.

I think Jenny just wanted to check the phone to see if any texts were between liz and Jonny. She's getting paranoid about them. She knocked it in and fished it out quick so it wasn't too damaged, but let liz think it was.

Agree, the bullying of Brian in school is horrible to watch.

How old is Michelle supposed to be that they her and Robert were arguing about starting a family? How old are her boys supposed to be ? They seem about 30!

If Ally is at the stage of medical training he appears to be then I guess he's mid 20s. Which makes Michelle early 40s?

I really hate what they have done to Sally and Tim and in particular Sally, she was great as the mayor and was a strong woman with aspirations but of course that can’t be allowed on Coronation Street now they have reduced her to being a criminal and the best she will ever achieve now if her name is cleared is a job back stitching knickers, can’t possibly have a middle aged woman doing well for herself, they did the same to Gail’s character she used to own and run a business and was smart and quite savvy now she is wet drip who gets little respect from her children and is only good enough for childcare and making packed lunches.

Did anyone notice in the first episode that Brian was cycling down the street indicating right but then turned left at the end of the road.

I think that was to show how tired/distracted he was whatdoes. Maybe the awful deputy head will get sacked and Brian will get his job. Hopefully something emerges during what's his name's trial that will prove Sally's innocence. I really hope they haven't chucked her into prison so Tim can get with Gina.

Rita's ankle accident was ridiculous ! She was standing still and suddenly had a potential broken ankle. It seemed really shoehorned in.

I don't find Brian convincing at all. He used to be a head, but wasn't very inspiring even then.

What happened with the girl(waitress), who turned out to be the daughter of Neil, the chap who groomed Bethany?

Eddie I seem to recall she kidnapped Bethany, but Craig rescued her. They both decided to let her go for some reason.

Jenny will be out for revenge. I think Michelle was very young (of course) when she had Ali, maybe coming up to sixteen and was born in January 1992, so he's twenty six which makes MIchelle 42 ish.
