Completely agree with us not having enough time to invest in characters and storylines to actually care about the outcomes. It’s like they’ve been ticking off a plan to cover real life issues, like Rochdale grooming (Bethany), suicide, male rape... but wedging them in unrealistically at a really fast pace. Then coming up with the sickest ideas (Jim and Hannah) and actually going through with them because it’s now a gritty soap. Hopefully it will improve now under the new boss.

What was the point of bringing Lewis back if they were just going to kill him off, I’m cross, I thought he was a good character and it would have been nice for Audrey to have some happiness in her later years, but no, no one can be happy even for 5 minutes, I find it quite frustrating.
