Two things surprised me (only two ?) 1. Robert described Michelle as his fiancée. So after the wedding/shooting they didn't get married? 2. Michelle has two grown up sons. Has the other family - the Neesons - just decided to disown their son/son they raised?

Nice to see Craig... His OCD cleared up quick.
Nice to see Chesney.. His PTSd cleared up quick.
Nice to see Robert.. his cancer cleared up quick.
Nice to see Rita.. her brain tumour cleared up quick.
Nice to see Sinead.. her spinal injury cleared up quick.
Etc.

There must be something in the water Roy uses to make his hot drinks, which explains why people pay him to drink it instead of walking 10foot to go home and have one. It all makes sense.

It must be, Klutzy, because Michelle and Robert own a bistro with one of them fancy coffee makers, yet they go to Roy's for a take out coffee in a paper cup!
Also, Carla has recovered well from the kidney op and Michelle looks good in spite of being shot by Phelan.

I also thought Ken was looking well after his stroke and Leanne after being run over recently.

Maureen Lipman was good last night, Kate was terrible.
I can’t stand Chesney, he was such a sweet little boy but he is so miserable looking now, maybe he and invisible Joseph could go and stay with Fizz and Hope.

Is there anyone in the list of characters that hasn't had some illness come and very quickly vanish?

I can't actually think of one. Maybe Kate?

Steve had depression, Jenny had some mental illness and snatched a child, what's her face was a hoarder, Michelle got shot, Carla had new liver, Johnny had MS, Daniel was a bit nuts but he's ok now, Tracey had transplant, nick has brain damage, David was supposedly nuts, etc

Did Dev have a heart problem? I seem to recall a gym scene once?

Oh yeah I forget about Carla's new kidney from Aiden and She's knocking the plonk back.
That's not exactly going OTT with the gratitude is it. At least in EE Phil has kept off the ale and Stacey and jean's bipolar hasn't been miraculously cured..

Oh and Max with The ADHD diagnosed in about a week.

Oh and that Phil. He's someone who I'd put on my list of 3 people that you could chin and get away with it.

No, they all got over the Vinnie/Phelan flats scam very quickly. The loss of savings a temporary blip.
Liz seems to be fairly upbeat after being scammed by her fake daughter, as well.

Oh of course yes, Liz and the fake daughter storyline.

Izzy and her pain. It was only ever going to get worse she claimed. Gary needed to move in to look after invisible Jakey. After a stint in t'Nick Izzy is back freewheeling around in t'knicker factory and invisible Gary is supposedly living with Sarah.

Sean's recovered well, not out looking for the girl who did "tricks" to help him or helping the homeless for Christmas. Moved on... Is he sleeping on Billy's sofa or has the flat sprung another magic room?

The Brian storyline is pathetic. As soon as the wicked deputy head apologised to him, you just knew he would be hissing venomously at Brian minutes later. Didn't expect it to be in the toilets though!

Talking of Billy, not only did he recover very well from heroin addiction, he shows no symptoms of the terrible paralysis from when Peter shoved him of a cliff.

Although I was aware of all those conditions and injuries, I'd never stopped to consider what PP have pointed out above - truly remarkable recoveries left, right and centre! Perhaps after Brexit people will start going to Wetherfield instead of Lourdes?

I think I’ve missed an epsiode somewhere. Have Fiz and hope left? What was the story there? And why has there been no reference to it in episodes since? Typical Corrie. One episode is the full length of their storylines now.

Fiz and Hawp went to live in Birmingham (was it?) because there's a special school there that will deal with Hawp's behavioural difficulties.

Oh so they decided to send her there then. That was all very quick. A child who bit a teacher gets an instant place in a special school. Let’s hope she fits in very well and we never have to see Fiz back in the street again.

Maybe I'm being thick, but I can't understand why Kate would want Robert to be a sperm donor if he wants an active part in the child's life.

The other stupid thing about the wanting Robert as a sperm donor is that Rana is the one with the problem of using a stranger's sperm (or so Kate thought) so using Robert's sperm only works if you tell Rana about it and ask if that is okay. If she's planning to be all secretive and do it all by herself, she might as well just use donor sperm as per the original plan as she has no issue with it.

Why does Carla hate Toyah?

I think it's because of the whole Suzie thing. Not sure whether it's because of what she did to Peter, or to 'the Connors' by hiding the fact that Aidan had a daughter, or both.

Hope will no doubt come back as a perfect little saint.

And probably with a different head
(although they'd also have to swap Jawseph's head as he's her RL brother, I think)

Yes Huuurp and Juuurzivv are twins In real life. I think their older sister plays April in Emmerdale.

Aren't they all related to Sawphay as well? Faye too, I think. Talk about nepotism.
