Evelyn is a bitch but hilarious. Am I right in thinking she's played another part in Corrie.

I don't know why Steve and Tracey tried to embarrass Amy by trying to set her up on a date with Aadi. They're modern parents. They wouldn't do something like that.
I throught it was hilarious the way she (Amy) said Oh my total God, though.
All that as well about her drawing IP a contract. My mum and dad wouldn't have even gave me the 'We're your parents. You don't dictate to us.
They'd have just blanked me.

I was just going to comment on Sinead's bump. And why is she holding it like the baby is about to fall out? I never did that.

How bloody stupid is Beth to try and pull off a robbery with a sidekick like Chesney.

I thought Beth and Kirk were living rent free because of Carla, but I have no idea what happened to that storyline. Surely they would have a fair bit of cash saved up because of that to help, but thats another storyline that never had a proper ending. The robbery is just ridiculous, even if they do pull it off I don't see how a. there would be enough to give Sinead for the treatment b. no one would realise that the robbery was linked to Sinead suddenly being given a pile of cash

The chemo suite didn’t look right. All those patients having chemo through their hands, not a PICC line or a portacath, just not realistic.

Whenever actresses play pregnant they always hold on to their stomachs. Why? pregnant women don't walk around like that.

The Beth robbery story is beyond ridiculous. And Sinead is on chemo now anyway, so why would they even be considering yet? It's as if the writers compete with each other to try to find the most stupid and unbelievable plot lines.

Yes it might be believable if Sinead's treatment wasn't working, just, you might consider mad schemes then. I am struggling with the cancer story having lost someone recently, all that crying in corners hoping no one will see you. I hope she makes a full (and very quick) recovery. And why has Eileen not considered that the money might have been hidden by Abbie, she could be keeping it for one of her dodgy mates.

Yes, I think there may be a twist with that hidden money storyline.

Didn't Phelan pay them back though? Maybe not every penny but I'm sure I remember himmhnding them wedges of cash from a hold all.

I think Phelan gave them back about a grand and a half each when their deposits were fifteen grand. She was more than happy to not give the residents more as she was off on a luxury holiday with Phelan and making plans to move into the "posh" house when it was renovated (the house where Andy was kept).

I don't know why Liz was praising how kind Eileen is and how she cares about everyone, she doesn't.

I'm almost sure I recall Phelan getting an insurance payout from the burning of the posh house and him paying them back. I'm sure I remember Vinnie bringing more cash and Phelan handing that out too..

It was a full story line so I'm not surprised if I've filled in the blanks in my.own head.. lol

You are probably right, although I thought Rita was annoyed that Flora got all that money from Vinnie when the resident were still owed money.

Just seen Beverley Callard on Loose Women - interestingly she said they have no say in the storylines even when they are being directed to actions which they believe their character would never do. In her case it was Liz getting involved with Johnny as he was a married man.

I saw that too and at the time I thought it wasn't something Liz would do.

Yes, I saw that Beverly C had said that, but oddly, a newspaper article today had an interview with the actress who plays Audrey, and she said she had put her foot down, when a storyline was proposed about Audrey starting to drink heavily because she was so lonely. She said it annoyed her to infer that a woman could not live independently alone and be happy. Maybe she has been a cast member for so long that she has more say than Bev C!

Let's not forget what Audrey said to Gail. "I'm never lonely. I've got Netflix!"

I remember reading that Chris Gascoigne was unimpressed with the Peter-Tina affair but couldn't do anything about it.
