Halsall I don't know if you can get them here, but in NZ I love the humble Desiree, especially as grown by our market gardener neighbours. Here we get a paper (I am overjoyed that these actually do exist here) bag of unspecified white potatoes with dirt still on from our local Nisa, and they taste delicious and crisp up well in the oven, and make perfect mash.
