Katya and Neil trade off being a married couple as well which makes this even more awkward. Their things are all branded as "The Joneses".

What I can't understand is why they kissed in public! Sooo stupid. It just baffles me. The lunacy.

I'm sure they will withdraw from the show. In my view it is the only dignified thing to do.
Their respective partners should not have to suffer knowing they are together eight hours a day, it would be intolerable. It's not as if they are working in an office, dancing is so intimate. I would be distraught if I were Seann's partner.

I thought Katya would have better taste (if this is true). I find Seann incredibly slimy and unattractive. Yuck.

Or they brazen it out with a We were so drunk interview with Zoe on It Takes Two who, given she drunkenly snogged a 22 year old at a Strictly wrap party, while still married to Norm...can talk about the demons of drink and her two years' sobriety.

Unless for Neil it is a huge deal breaker, then he also won't want to damage their brand.

If Sean did it on his girlfriend's birthday then it must have been intentional. He obviously knew someone would see them. He and Katia didn't hide. If he did it with an intention to break up from his girlfriend then it worked but in a very cruel way.
I guess his girlfriend knew about his kissing on Saturday already. She cried not because she was proud of him.

Well, I guess they certainly won't be lined up to do a rumba any time soon...

Someone was filming them as they were walking toward that person it looked in very close proximity. Then they were filmed kissing. How could they not see the person ? The street and alleyway looked relatively empty

I think the paparazzi have really good cameras, long lens or whatever and can get very close up show without being seen. It’s disgraceful really.

Kissing someone else on your girlfriend’s birthday? Classy. His poor girlfriend.

How humiliating for the girlfriend. Presumably she had no idea when she was in the audience on Saturday night. The news broke in the press after that didn’t it.

Somebody on digital spy said it looked like they were snogging away, then noticed something/someone out of the corner of their eye and tried to style it out by laughing and strutting down the street as if nothing had happened, presumably hoping their snog hadn't been snapped. Ugh.

@ElspethFlashman that's exactly what my husband thought when he watched the video. They seemed to notice then just have a big hug , probably in a hope just that got papped.

I presume if they're dropping out it'll be in the news today.. or if not I wonder if they'll still insta story their training etc like they usually do..

I don't think his GF would have been there on Saturday night I'd she'd known.

Also, they've been dancing together for what, 6 weeks? It would be naive to think this is the first time it's happened.

Watched a few clips Mozzie - and one of the things that strikes me is how very recogniseable the dances are - even without the description, and without he music off, you can see it's a tango, or a cha-cha, or a charleston or whatever.

You can't say the same now.

Find it hard to believe that's the only time they've kissed passionately like that. I can't see how they can stay in the competition.

I agree that Lee gets the music and actually I thought he did better on the dance off (he's got a good body). Charles needs to eat more humble pie. On the dance off alone, Lee was robbed.

I don't think they'll be axed, it's not the BBC's style to acknowledge. Everyone will be told to act like nothing's happened, then Bruno will make a subtle-as-a-sledgehammer comment.

It's such a shame as I really did like them together. I do think it's a particularly intense situation to be in and drunken mistakes can happen, but it's so horrible for their other halves.

Seann is my favourite and I can't believe he has been so stupid. Being drunk is not an excuse in my book. Also on his girlfriend's birthday why was he not out with her?

I don't agree with the posters who say they can't see why Katya would be attracted to him though. He is far better looking than Neil. I have always thought he is attractive - nice smile, lovely hair and seemed such a nice guy.

Oooh OOH (thanks for new thread Sassy ) Been entertaining family this weekend. I didn't know what happened!!! She serves him right , she's loony tunes IMO.
