Hi everyone, the last thread was nearly full. Is Imran so short of work he can take on a case at 2 mins notice?

To be fair though, Klutzy, Chesney Brown is a dreary little loser who works in a kebab shop and has pretty much nothing going for him. Sam Aston (I think that's his name) is at least an actor and may well be utterly charming!

Is Gemma supposed to be a teenager? That is ridiculous.

I think Bethany's dad died in a car crash. He was the same age as Sarah, a classmate or something.

Did Ruby's mum go to prison? I remember the domestic abuse storyline with Tyrone but thought she just packed her bags and left when that all came out. Yes Maria sent Tyrone threatening letters and pretended they were from Ruby's mum. I can't remember why, she was going through another one of her unstable phases.

Even the kids with two living parents, like Jake, (seldom seen!) and Oliver, are only living with one of them. Although that may change with the Amy contract storyline! I can't think of one family on the street where a child is living with both parents.

Could I please issue a warning: Apparently, the old, 'if you mention someone on this thread they will automatically appear in the next episode' works perfectly well. HOWEVER, it seems that if you mention, say, Adam or Imran with their shirts off, you get Ryan with his shirt off. Bleurgh. Please can nobody try that again.

Thank God it wasn't a shirtless Ken.

I noticed that too! Who do we have to ask for to get Adam or Imran topless? Roy? Johnny?

Ryan wasn't that bad, though Wink

He was still Ryan though - I'd have preferred Dev Wink

Yes, or Jonny.

Johnny was very handsome back in the day and hez still got a certain something about him in all honestyGrin

I have a feeling Johnny doesn't look great with his top off but I agree he has something about him. You can see he must have been extremely attractive when he was younger and he still looks good now. He's my older guy crush. And no way would he have chosen Liz over Jenny IRL!

Yes, he was quite a heart throb in the 90s.

Any remember Family Affairs?

Wasn't he also in a drama series about vets in the country side? Not the Herriot one. And he had a small role in Love Actually.

I liked family affairs. I loved Yasmin and the goings on in her mum's shop. I thought Johnny and his wife in the soap, Cat (Nicola Duffet) made a really great pair. Corrie should give her a role.

Lol, punt for C5 to reshow Family Affairs and BBC to reshow Eldorado..

Soap court cases are so boring. It feels like either Emmerdale or Corrie always have a court case either on the go or coming up.

Report
Clionba · 21/11/2018 19:54

So boring, and it's been done time and time again. Innocent person goes to prison and then there's a campaign to release them. I've lost count of Corrie residents who've gone to prison.

BBC to reshow Eldorado

I pray for this daily.

Jonny was also in a couple of series of Prime Suspect. He was very fanciable in that. He was one of the PM’s staff I think in Love Actually - not a big role.

Tim and Sally had a great marriage. A genuinely happy couple, and they have a flair for comedy. Why wreck that, destroy Sally and have Tim act totally out of character?

OhioOhioOhio he is one of the advisors to the PM Hugh Grant. Tiny role, but I always notice him!
