I agree with pp about Sinead's storyline. It's horrible and has taken an unpleasant turn.

The oldwoman needs you story was pants. As if you'd get a call because an elderly person was "asking for you" and then you'd hightail it to her home rather than accompanying your "wife" to chemo. Also when Daniel got there and realised it was a false call wouldn't he have called and then made his way to the clinic asap in a taxi (sine Carla/Ken are paying for everything Sinead desires? And wouldn't he have rung back the number he was called on from "the home" and discover it wasn't the care home at all? Sloppy

It’s actually quite sinister from Daniel’s perspective that his wife would arrange with a stranger to pretend an elderly woman he cares about was distressed and asking for him just so his wife could avoid telling him she’d rather not have chemo right now. If/when he finds out, on top of her hiding the cancer and making Ken keep it secret, he will be devestated.

It’s gone like Eastenders, just misery after misery. For Gods sake, isn’t the world miserable enough, we need a bit of escapism. Where do they get their scriptwriters from, the school of misery and dire plots?

I wonder what the Xmas story will be? Not too sad I hope. Where’s Maureen these days?

If the producers decide they want Sinead to live, maybe they will have her new friend die very suddenly, and Sinead will realise the alternative therapy hasn't worked, and resume chemo.

Sinead is so dozy and her acting appalling. It's dire. If the actress is leaving or getting the chop then she'll die and Daniel will be looking to off Ken (That would make a cheery Xas show!) or she'll get better if the actress is staying and the mate will cop it or pop round to say her cancer has come back.

Why doesn't Adam move in with Imran above their office (He wanted Rana to move in, so it muct have two bedrooms)? and we could have jolly japes featuring them?

Why don't they slap a bit of paint up in the law office? It looks grim.

That law office is horrible, and doesn't present a good image. Surely Gary could slap a bit of paint on and put in a smarter kitchen?

Or, the way things go on Corrie, Sinead won't be in the next few episodes and then she'll come back with no mention of the cancer - a la Rita's dementia, Nick's brain injury, Carla's kidney , Cathy's hoarding .....

Why do people disappear for weeks on end? Where is Billy the Vicar? Does Wooden Jude still work in the shop?
At one time we would see people buying a newspaper or magazine, or popping into Dev's for milk.
They seem to have abandoned the day-to-day interactions in favour of hyped-up over-dramatic storylines.

Well you've mentioned in now Eddie so expect Billy to pop up on Monday.

Is guess the real reason they go off is to give the actors a break. I think they have a tough schedule when they're a focus of a story line so they give them time off after.

Not so fussed about seeing Adam with his shirt off, as I bet he's one of these silly men who remove all their body hair (fondly imagining that it looks nice) And he's a bit too thin aswell.

But Imran! Totally different story - I bet he's lovely and furry under that shirt! Much nicer body too, more substantial IYKWIM.
