I don't really understand why the second episode was basically all about Ken.

dont Sinead passed out in the rovers and then when the doctors spoke to Daniel he alluded to her cancer but couldn’t say more sonken confessed he knew what was wrong.

Ken has decided to change his whole outlook on life, because of this issue? He found out about Sinead's cancer by choice, counselled her and begged her to tell Daniel. What's he done wrong? Why does this make him change?

The confused old lady who moved in with Daniel appeared in today's episode of Doctors as... a confused old lady.

I don't see Daniel as controlling. I think Sinead will always have the final say. She's the only good thing in his life,and he went from the heights of joy to the depths of sorrow in about fifteen minutes, so reacted in a way he bitterly regretted later. He and Peter are very good actors, and I thought that last episode was well-written for a change.

She appeared in, I think, eastenders a while back too.

Sorry, that should read that Ken found out by chance about the cancer.

I thought Peter was really good tonight, it did feel more like Corrie of old with him and Daniel in the back yard, but I can’t stand Daniel, you could tell he really wanted to push Ken down the stairs again, if Peter had not been there he would have probably killed him he was so full of venom, I agree he is a manipulative, controlling bully.

Agree with Ajandjjmum they at least need a passing mention to ongoing storylines, it really would not be difficult to fit in the odd line here and there.

Thought the scenes in the backyard of the Barlows were good, well acted and well written.
Not sure what to make of Daniel, I swing from liking him to buying a bit Meh!
I feel for them, as a young couple faced with such awful circumstances and choices.
Do we think Rula Lenska's character is going to be around for the long stay?

I just read that Fizz has called her baby girl........Hilda. Is just a wee bit old fashioned for my taste. I think i prefer Betty if we are naming after Corrie characters.

Fiz was just in the Rovers on Monday rescuing Sinead. I didn’t realise she was due already.

Just catching up on Monday’s episodes. Getting so annoyed by the constant reference to Daniel and Sinead being husband and wife!! They’re not bloody married!!!!

I put Hilda with names like Gladys and Doris and Bertha, never to be revived......obviously I'm wrong!

I still don't understand why Daniel is so angry with Ken. It was Sinead keeping the secret!

It was a ceremony but It was Kirk who carried out so definitely not a proper wedding

I haven't watched tonight's episodes yet- is it worth it? Or should I do something useful with the time instead?

Clowdy fairly depressing scenes as Sinead begins the chemotherapy. Otherwise a bit of Steve/Tracy conflict, as per. Liz in fancy dress!!

I'm with BowTieBaby - it's the sort of lazy writing that really pisses me off. Surely at least one of the scriptwriters is married and remembers that you can't just dress up a woman, take her to a bit of spare grass and have your simple mate proclaim you man and wife. It just doesn't work like that!
