Hi everyone, the last thread was nearly full. Is Imran so short of work he can take on a case at 2 mins notice?

@crazycatgal It wasn’t a legal wedding ceremony.

The banns should have been read three weeks prior.

Kirk can not conduct wedding ceremonies.

The venue was not approved for weddings.

The location was not an approached

BowTieBaby · 31/10/2018 21:47

Ignore the last sentence, DH was distracting me!

thenightsky · 31/10/2018 23:14

I did have to snigger at Kirk greeting Sinead whilst dressed as the grim reaper!

SymphonyofShadows · 01/11/2018 07:27

Did Steve just leave the laptop on the ground after he kicked it under Tracey's van? And why has the flower shop still got Robert's name?

Thesearmsofmine · 01/11/2018 07:50

I thought that about the laptop! It had Webster’s Garage on the front of it, surely he picked up afterwards?

Clionba · 01/11/2018 08:48

Right outside a police station. With the name on. Deliberately trashed.

KlutzyDraconequus · 01/11/2018 09:17

If Corrie had any basis in reality, that laptop would be found and examined. He didn't do enough damage to destroy the hard drive so info could still be extracted.

But obviously it's Corrie, characters vanish for weeks, laptops can disappear too.
At the very least they could put a short scene in between Steve and Tracy and Steve say he picked it up and threw it in the canal..

HettySunshine · 01/11/2018 11:11

So the cctv footage in the garage is only stored on a laptop which is kept inside the garage.

If the garage is broken into what’s the first thing that’s going to be stolen?!

I think i may have found a hole in Kev’s security arrangements!

IStandWithPosie · 01/11/2018 11:19

I don’t understand why Daniel (or anyone) would want to have a wedding ceremony that didn’t actually mean they were married? There are no obstacles to them being legally married so why wouldn’t they just do It properly? What’s the point of a white dress, vows etc when it isn’t real? Confused

EachandEveryone · 01/11/2018 16:40

I just really can’t stand Tracey anymore and it makes me cringe the way Steve panders to her.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 01/11/2018 18:19

I really like Tracey now! and I want her to give it a proper go with Steve I think they would make a great comedy couple like Jack and Vera and Amy certainly could be the new Terry in training!

rosamacrose · 01/11/2018 18:58

I watch on catch up And keep u

rosamacrose · 01/11/2018 19:01

(and my phone is an utter mare and posted for me)
Updated here.
Fizz has had a baby?
Am I dim and missed something?

clowdyweewee · 01/11/2018 19:13

The actress who plays Fizz has had a baby, not the character!

rosamacrose · 01/11/2018 19:20

BettyBoo we could really do with some strong couples. Can't think of any doing well.
Sally and Tim.
Tracey and Steve.
Aye-jenny-love and Jonny
Aude and Lewis (good luck with that)
Michelle and (I'm making myself stand here till I remember his name as a talisman against the memory loss of ageing...nope it's gone) Thingy.

rosamacrose · 01/11/2018 19:21

clowdy thank you!

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 01/11/2018 19:26

I agree rosamacrose couples only last about 10 minutes on the street, Sally and Tim were always a strong couple but Tim was so unsupportive over the fraud allegations and now I think the writers are lining him up for an affair with Gina.... shame the writers always spoil a good couple.

Clionba · 01/11/2018 19:27

Sally and Tim were a great couple. Funny, well played and plausible. Why Sally had to be punished for her ambition, I've no idea. I think their marriage is at risk as well.

rosamacrose · 01/11/2018 19:50

My phone keeps shutting down.
But his name is ROBERT!
So glad I got there.
Bastard phone.

eddiemairswife · 01/11/2018 19:53

How long was Sally sentenced for? She seems to have been inside for ages.

SymphonyofShadows · 01/11/2018 19:56

Sally is on remand, she hasn't been tried yet.

clowdyweewee · 01/11/2018 21:31

Just catching up with last night's episodes. Did Beth say she'd had a text from her Gran? Confused How old would she be??

Clionba · 01/11/2018 21:34

Sinead's gran, I think. I seem to remember Sinead's mum and gran were in an episode or two. Of course they're not on the scene when she really needs them.

Considering that Jawsif could only understand Portuguese a few months ago, he's done remarkably well to become so fluent in Mancunian in such a short time.
