Anyone going to be watching the new Doctor Who now it is a woman?
Love Jodie as an actress. Never been fussed on the doctor before!!

I am. Jodie’s from the next village!

bilbodog · 07/10/2018 19:15

Uh oh - dr who just said would of ...........

There is now absolutely no hope for man/woman kind!!!

Bearbehind · 07/10/2018 19:17

This is dreadful.

Why does such a good actress have to speak to people like she's addressing primary school children?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/10/2018 19:18

there was no theme music :(

TwitterQueen1 · 07/10/2018 19:18

Boring.......

Bradley et al are all fine / good. Not loving J

Tahani · 07/10/2018 19:19

I thought of you lot when there was the parking altercation at the start

TwitterQueen1 · 07/10/2018 19:19

bilbo really? 'would of'? pet hate. It's a no from me.....

llangennith · 07/10/2018 19:21

Oops I just started a new thread saying I was enjoying it till she said 'would of' 🙈. Must've been scripted as the actress certainly wouldn't say that.

MynameisJune · 07/10/2018 19:22

I couldn’t decide if it was would of or would’ve

TwitterQueen1 · 07/10/2018 19:24

She's trying too hard to be a cross between David Tennant and Matt Smith. I'm not seeing the personality...

mbb1 · 07/10/2018 19:24

It's a bit rubbish, isn't it?

dementedma · 07/10/2018 19:24

this is a bit rubbish. the way the normal civilians are now perfectly ok with being thrust into alien shenanigans and totally chilled about it.
gah, I SO wanted to like this!

mbb1 · 07/10/2018 19:25

Switching off now - the teeth!!!

CoughArghCoughArghCough · 07/10/2018 19:25

We’re really enjoying it so far. Before the face reveal I just said ha, what is his face made of teeth? Haha... oh.
I think Jodie is a very good doctor Smile

DoryNow · 07/10/2018 19:25

It is a kids show bearbehind Grin

Also the doctor is still regenerating hence the ditzy behaviour- David Tennant moaned about his teeth as I recall. Smile

Tahani · 07/10/2018 19:26

Oooooh the teeth!!

She is a bit explainy

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/10/2018 19:26

It's a lot of frantic nothing at the moment.

PipeTheFuckDown · 07/10/2018 19:28

I’m with you BadKitten

My D.C. wandered off less than 5 minutes in Sad

MynameisJune · 07/10/2018 19:28

Story line isn’t up to much really but I guess it’s for kids

Petalflowers · 07/10/2018 19:29

Quite enjoying it so far. However, there’s too many dark scenes. Also, weird to see Bradly Walsh in it ‘cause I love him in Law and Order UK.

Bearbehind · 07/10/2018 19:30

Sunday night at 7pm isn't designed to just be aimed at kids!

weebarra · 07/10/2018 19:31

It must be traditional Dr Who. DS2 is watching it from the traditional venue of halfway up the stairs.

DoryNow · 07/10/2018 19:33

Also a lot of explainy as Tahani says , sort of setting the scene with all the new characters.

Think it'll be like Marmite -you'll love her or hate her.

DoryNow · 07/10/2018 19:35

Always used to be a bit dark & scary in the originals, I remember as a kid watching from behind the sofa.

Poisondartfrog · 07/10/2018 19:35

Well I needn’t have worried about over complicated plots
