I liked that Ryan was actually quite clever really and I am really happy that dyspraxia is getting some media exposure.

Another good episode. Looks like the Stenza are gearing up to be the big bad.

Its all very 'woke'.
It’s a funny old world when finally representing one half of the population is considered “woke”. Shouldn’t it just be, er..., normal?

it is supposed to be a return to the old Doctor Who. (least i believe- told that fact second hand.)

I enjoyed it - though Bradley Walsh's line do seem like over the top one liners. Think he was an odd choice.

Pretty stranded for there to be lots of sulking when there's a change in Doctor. I took a while to stop mine with the last one if stopping watching means not sulking

I got goosebumps when she walked into the new Tardis.

I don't find it woke or PC, I'm just enjoying it, a decent mansplaining-free adventure each week. Those freaky bandages though

I like the new TARDIS decor. It's gently steampunk but also somehow organic.

I liked it a lot. DD liked the episode but was disappointed with the opening credits and the Tardis.

And yes to the Stenza gearing up to be the big bad.

I was disappointed in the credits.

Not toooooo convinced by the TARDIS.

She's fine. I liked the tardis too, the orange glow is appealing.

I'm really enjoying how much my kids aren't scared of it, actually! I feel like they are getting the tone of the introduction down really well.

Curious to see what the other new writers will be like.

I liked episode 2 - confirmed me in the feeling that this was an Ecclestone-like doctor, and also I like that it's back to being kids'TV rather than "need an encyclopedic knowledge of the Whovian universe" fan-service.

Gosh, six of them running around the whole time tonight, had a very different feel to it.
I didn’t much like the inside of the tardis, too dark for me. Couldn’t see if they’d got rid of the balcony?

Jodie is a fab actress and this series isn't doing her justice.

The "gang" is just too big. Not enough time to get to really know each one.

Also, this series feels just there. It isn't bad but I don't have that excitement at the end for next week and I miss that.

Yes, I like Jodie much more than I expected, I think she's great but the episode plots thus far have been weak.

Please tell me it's a trick of the light and they haven't actually painted the tardis fucking teal.

The theme music has lost its punch. We usually turn the volume up and do the whole oooooooooh eeeeeeeeee oooooooh and the basey doo doo doo doo thing but it's lacklustre and flat sounding

I'm a bit on the fence with Jodie. At some points it was like she was practising reading her lines, just a bit bland and rushed. I think the lack of a strong sidekick to act to isn't helping. She'd be great with Amy Pond.

Next weeks eposide looks good. Hopefully I'll bond a bit more with Jodie.

I think we got a 0.5 second shot of a balcony.

I have been watching with 9yr old DD, Jodie is her first doctor. A few squeals and hiding behind a cushion, but just the right level of scariness for her to enjoy it but not be freaked out.

She gasped when the TARDIS reappeared, spent all last episode asking where it was.

I'm enjoying Jodie as the Doctor, agree there's definitely a touch of Christopher Eccleston in her portrayal (and it's not just the northern accent).

I liked this episode better than last week's. But I didn't like the opening credits, it was like going down the plug hole of a drain unblocker commercial - manky liquidy debris everywhere - well now I think we all know what it's like inside the exit pipe of a dishwasher .

Not keen on the new look of the tardis inside. Do we think the outside is teal now??? I thought that was the yellowy light of the planet reflecting off it. They can't change the blue of the tardis, that would be sick and wrong.

The female companion is not getting much storyline, she feels a bit superfluous at the moment. I hope they give her more to do and say as the series goes on. Too many companions spoil the broth I think.

I did enjoy this episode though (despite the moaning above ).

Not bad, clearly not filmed in the usual quarry! girl companion had one big line but mumbled it, shame as she really is a spare part. All for simpler plots but that ending was beyond obvious.

I wonder if maybe the focus was mainly on Ryan and Graham with his Nan dying?
