My dog
Duvet is from Dunelm Mill
It's actually an old range - I bought it in around 2013 and cleared it out in 2015.
I didn't think they still made it?
This episode was so silly start to finish.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/12/2018 11:47

Christmas special on tonight 8pm

No doubt a family spending £500 so can easily buy the cheaper present toys clothes etc and save money

But I do like it :)

Oh marvellous. Will be watching and judging!

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/12/2018 20:03

Ffs. Switched on and due to politics they started it at 730
Instead of 8

So missed half

Will watch via demand tomorrow

RandomMess · 12/12/2018 20:22

Did it say at the beginning where they get all their money from 😱

woodhill · 12/12/2018 20:26

Why did they need a brand-new electric toothbrush every year?

Scifi101 · 12/12/2018 20:40

@RandomMess

I missed the start but it gave the impression that foster carers are getting tons of money which isn't what I thought the reality was.

Graphista · 12/12/2018 20:45

I also missed first half due to tv schedule being rejigged. Will watch on catchup but who the hell spends nearly £10k on Christmas??

JustWhatINeededNow · 13/12/2018 09:06

Oh I love these guys.

Obviously there's some silly spending but I think it's so much clearer about the reason for spending.

The money had come from a house sale / savings. They've got no debt.

RandomMess · 13/12/2018 09:44

I assumed they'd inherited or massive insurance payout tbh knew if couldn't come from being FC

WeAreSailing · 13/12/2018 20:03

Somehow they've totally lost the plot by believing ££££ = memories

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/12/2018 22:20

REpeated on Saturday. Think 230

OP posts:
Samcro · 15/12/2018 17:13

Just watched, omg those guys were amazing

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/12/2018 22:34

Yes amazing to foster sn kids

But insane to spend so much money

Why didn’t they adopt the boys?

OP posts:
RandomMess · 16/12/2018 22:40

Fostered Children get supported financially and practically you get respite...

Adopt, well your left fighting the system!

youngestisapsycho · 17/12/2018 12:02

I watched this on Saturday... the 12 yr old twins were adopted weren't they?

RandomMess · 17/12/2018 17:22

Yes and the babies I thought? They've "just" fostered lots of others too...

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/07/2019 14:47

this is back this wed at 8pm

a couple with 8 children

sure there will be money savings on clothes and products

but as we know its not really saving the family, if they have already spent thousands buying them previously

its more for us at home to avoid buying costly crap when the cheaper version works just as well :)

tho course i will be watching :D

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 24/07/2019 10:45

On tonight 8pm :)

OP posts:
Clutterbugsmum · 24/07/2019 11:04

I wish they did it with families/couples starting out rather then doing it with people who have already bought the expensive item

Most of what they sat 'they can save' is unattainable because they won't be going out and buying the cheaper options.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/07/2019 20:04

Totally agree :)

Let’s are what they can save or not save tonight

OP posts:
nameychange · 24/07/2019 20:22

This programme isn’t as good as the food one.

The girls just liked the dolls and camper because it was new.

popcorndiva · 24/07/2019 20:46

I think they should do it for pregnant women looking at baby items.

BikeRunSki · 24/07/2019 20:53

How did they take 8 people to Portugal last year for £4500?

KennDodd · 24/07/2019 20:55

I do love a bit of brainless crap TV.
