It's so stupid all this stuff about 5 minutes. Ryan isn't a suspect. 3 people saw Cormac take the drugs, the drugs killed him. Ryan could be a bit fuzzy about the time and so could Sophie, that would be normal. It's just an excuse for Sophie to use her concerned expression, one of the three she learned at drama school. Other 2 are sad (accompanied by tears) and shock (an open mouth).

I don't understand how Ali seemed to be involved in the Jude/Roy exchange about the money. What did I miss there?!

Ali saved Roy, not Jude.

He heard Jude handing back the cheque, and thought Jude had decided to do the right thing. What he didn't hear was Jude saying it wasn't enough, and he needed five thousand, not three.

Ah, thanks, Clawdy! That makes sense. I thought at first that Ali was encouraging Jude to fleece Roy, which made no sense unless he was looking for a cut, but that seemed odd even by Corrie's recent efforts...

I don't understand Roy just meekly agreeing to give Jude the extra money. I thought the £3,000 was a thankyou for saving (allegedly) Roy's life, so how can Jude just say it's not enough.
I do hope there's not going to be a gangster related story involving Cormac's father.

I did wonder/hope if Roy will now do a bit of digging into prices of these paramedic courses or whatever he thinks he’s funding, as a pp suggested. I fear there’s no escaping the gangsters 😒

Basically Sawphie told Ryan she was going back to the police, and say the timings were wrong. Ryan begged her not to, as the drugs dealer he grassed up turned up deaded in the canal.
The police come to speak to Ryan, he bent down and drugs fell out of his pocket. Michelle screamed but there not his.
