I like Ali too, I hope they don't wreck his career. God Jude is a great useless lump, he is not only a compulsive liar but a thief now too. What's the betting he will whisk Angie away on a second honeymoon with his ill gotten windfall.

I zone out in Jude’s scenes. What was his windfall? I saw where he was in the pub with Yasmeen and talking about him fainting at the sight of blood then he he told Angie he was 100% certain he wanted to be a paramedic. So was he faking the fainting with Yasmeen? Or he is lying to Angie yet again? Is he just workshy?

His windfall was dear Roy very graciously and discreetly offering him a cheque (three or four thousand pounds, IIRC) as a thankyou for saving his life and to put towards his paramedic training course IStand - he accepted it. I'm pretty sure the fainting was genuine and he's lying to Angie again. Nasty piece of work - Mary will be appalled if she finds out.

Oh not poor Roy!! Shock I wonder if Jude was like this before he arrived in Corrie and that was why he was so keen to leave his life in Australia. (Was it Australia? Or South Africa?) maybe his lies there were catching up with him. Possible future storyline. Although tbh I’d rather just see him go.

I think they introduced Jude and his family as a conclusion to the Mary back story. I think he was genuinely a marine biologist, he was going to take up a prestigious post in South Africa. They invited Mary to join them. Instead of just concluding on that, they brought them into Weatherfield and ruined their characters' lives.

My Aand E department do have a Gp service i think to probably try and.easse the workload when people cant get an appointment with their Gp , but evenso hes always involved in everything regardless of why the residents visit wratherfield generalConfused i was a nurse for years i only knew people who worked in my deprtment i didnt know "fred" from orthoepaedics or sharon from Gynae Hmm

I love Jenny, she's great, her, Tim and Daniel are the only characters I like, and maybe Tracey.
It's a shame what they've done to Jude, I'm not sure why they introduced him for him to be that blithering idiot to start, and now quite nasty.
The sooner Katie and Jim go, the better.

As mentioned upthread, Jim always refers to family members by their full names: Elizabeth, Stephen, Andrew. So why does he call the girl Katie when her tombstone says Katherine? Clearly it's a giveaway that she's fake and everyone should have picked up on it.

I watched on catch up today and cannot believe they have regurgitated Steve and Leanne again. And once again, no lead-up to it.

Loved Mary talking about George showing he is a genius once he stops just saying "yoghurt" and "no". Also Jenny and Roy's bat conversation. Agree she was born to stand behind that bar, such a wonderful change after dreadful Toyah. Both scenes were a pleasant interlude to the the horrendous drugs, blind Josh and stupid wooden Jude storylines.
