What had happened to Josh to make him blind in the first place?

I think when Billy tipped off Josh's date that Josh was going to drug him and assault him the date beat Josh up and it was that beating that resulted in him losing his sight.

There was one moment in Billy's house where Josh seemed to feel his way through the doorway, but apart from that he seemed fine. And how did he find his way to Billy's front door if he's blind?

Its like they just forget to write some scenes, but carry on regardless, hoping we won't notice.

Josh said his sight wasn't fully better but I don't remember it ever being mentioned that it was coming back. Perhaps I missed it, I tune out a fair bit when watching now sadly. The funny thing is, the more dramatic and fast paced they make Corrie, the less engaging it is. But will the writers ever realize this?

Why would Billy give Josh his personal address to begin with?

I think Josh might have known it from when he worked at thevgarage and organised the boxing benefit for Luke.

Maybe, That does make sense, but I didn't think they'd met because old Billy boy was drug addled around that time.
