The Liz and her “daughter” storyline is amongst the most ridiculous unbelievable storylines ever shown. I just can’t watch anymore.

I can't watch it. I'm reinvesting in university challenge instead.

And now we see why Johnny went from hating Jenny to being back in love with her in the space if 10 minutes. Someone must have thought up the Jim storyline during the Kidnap story line and had to change things sharpish to suit.

I hope Johnny catches Jim out.

It’s out of character for Jim to be that vile, he was never the nicest but he did have morals and i think he loved Liz. That’s what makes it even more stupid, it just wouldn’t happen. Who the hell writes these scripts, a child could do better.

Yes this Jim story is really out of character, if I remember correctly the reason he did the armed robbery in the first place was because he promised Liz he would buy the Rovers for her and the only way he thought he could get the money was through crime. I just don’t believe his character would do such a cruel thing to Liz as he did really love her despite some of the awful things he did.

I think Claudia has the makings of a really good strong older woman character, I hope they keep her in the street.

I don't think the writers have ever watched it. probably because it's past their bedtime when it's on

Yes Claudia really put Ken in his place. She could be a great character as long as they don't just have her making bitchy comments to 'Aud' and give her a proper storyline. (Not a love interest for ken please). Much better than the awful Evelyn imo.

I think it was the forts corrie scene I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Agree, please no ken and Claudia love match.

There was a conversation between the two of them last night where she said something about meeting him in prison.

I wonder if she was one of those people who befriends a prisoner, writes letters etc. Do they still have those?

Agreed. It's the worst storyline for all sorts of reasons.

Does Jenny know Johnny and Liz did the deed? I get the feeling she does and has just decided to pretend it didn't happen but I can't remember if she ever actually found out. She keeps making pointed comments about Jim and Liz getting back together and watching Johnny's reaction.
