A while back Traceyluv said she felt one day and clutched her side near her kidney and the next day IIRC she collapsed in the flower shop but Beth found her and got help.

Iirc Tracey had a bad infection in her kidney and the hospital were concerned that it might fail but the magical weatherfield doctors waved their wands after a shed load of antibiotics she was fine.

Friday, second episode. They had a drink together in the pub. She asked for the job of legal secretary (). He interviewed her () then Imran suggested going back to his place. They ran out of the Rovers like rats out of a trap.

No idea. They are the most improbable friends. She seems to have latched on to him and he's not even pleasant to her.

I've no idea. That old guy that asked for the voddy got Sean sacked, but that thin woman was waiting outside. I don't know what their game is.

I think they were hinting that she was giving the old bloke sexual favours for drugs.

Can the writers please stop making Gail a blithering idiot, it’s embarrassing to watch, why have they made such a central character a joke figure? Helen Worth must cringe when she gets her scripts.

BettyBoo - totally agree. The scene where she was on the phone was cringeworthy. SO ridiculous and SO unfunny.

Corrie was always reknowned for having strong, independent female characters, especially older ones. Why have they turned into perpetual victims and/or idiots, in thrall to the latest man?

Yes, that silly baby voice on the phone, what was that about? Ridiculous.

And the ridiculous wide-eyed expression that went with it. Are we meant to be amused?

Shouldn't Gail inform the police that a criminal has put money in her bank account, even though he 'owes' her. And surely it's not a coincidence that it's the same amount that the council were scammed out of, £40,000?
