I don't understand why Stephanie is throwing her toys out the pram. What does jack owe her, she's acting like he's her boyfriend and made a commitment. Why is she shouting at him and calling him a dickhead?

If you really want to see controlling behaviour - see first look. Newbie Stephanie has a real go at Jack2 for not telling her earlier than he is into Laura2. She's acting like an injured party / wronged woman and is visibly angry. Perhaps that will put Laura1's fairly muted behaviour in perspective - Laura1 reacted far less and she had been coupled up with Jack2 for a fortnight (and he basically ended it with her to crack on with Laura2). Laura1 was a model of constraint by contrast with Stephanie

None of it makes any sense. The islanders and their journeys just aren't flowing very well this year.

I don't think Laura wolud be a bunny boiler. She actually has been ok after both splits and nicer than she needed to be to Meg (once she got the initial slag comment off her chest). I think she does need to feel secure in a relationship and didn't with Jack or Wes (because they are not suited and she knew it).

I was I think a nightmare in my previous (2 year) relationship before DH. Not the guy's fault because he was a genuinely nice guy but i think i felt a bit out of my league as he was from a much wealthier background, very popular etc. and I felt insecure. I was not the same at any stage in my relationship with DH (coming up to 20 years now) or even any previous relationship. Just somethng about that relationship made me act very insecurely. he did well to put up with it for 2 years!

But to get to the point, I think Laura is quite astute and knew they were not right for her but did not want to admit it (not least because of game) but it has led to the insecure behaviour

I took the Steph thing from the day before when he cracking on to her fairly heavily and that from that she thought he liked her. She was just calling him out in that and saying he should have told her rather than her hearing it from other people-and I think she was angry as he told her she was way down on the list of people he was telling. I didn't think she was aggressive and I didn't think he was a bit of a dickhead.

It must be a right hit house in there though with everyone's emotions all over the place .

I'd say Stephanie's reaction is purely that of a girl not used to rejection. She comes across as quite arrogant, like she can't quite believe not only did Jack2 want someone else instead of her, but he chose to speak to Alex1 ahead of her.

I agree with those who say Laura1 seems insecure, but that doesn't make her a bad person. I think it's very likely the environment in there is magnifying everything and she's 'desperate' purely in the sense of she knows she has to be with someone to stay.

I do feel for her, but she's made the wrong decisions in there from day one. I really hope Paul chooses her and she is able to relax and enjoy her remaining time in there. If she does that, then I think she could definitely win.

No I don't think Laura 1 s behaviour makes her a bad person, I don't think it's malicious, it just comes from a place of insecurity, but nor do I think that makes it acceptable.

I also think it's fair to say Stephanie doesn't take rejection well..🤣

It wasn't the evening, it was still day time, and perhaps Jack didn't think he owed her anything as he'd made her no promises, so didn't feel he needed to run to tell her immediately.
