It's a shame the producers really polarise the two sexes.
You don't really get to see the friendships between to two groups at all.

It's weird how Laura 1 polarises people. I can't see what's winnable about her behaviour. Clearly some feel it's unacceptable some think it's great. I wonder if it was a man treating younger women like that if folks would want him to win.

And so what if Laura 2 sleeps with jack 2 , or jack 2 sleeps with Laura 2.they are both grown ups. As much as I don't like the concept of shagging on tv, Megan, wes, Laura 1, they have all done it.

The boys friendships are seen more than the girls IMO

The trouble is that everything is so heavily edited that it's difficult to work out the true nature of an islander's personality/behaviour. I think that is why Laura1, and others, polarize viewer opinions. So little of a conversation is shown so we are left to interpret the rest of it, it's meanings and their behaviour and we're all coming to different conclusions.

Laura1 doesn't polarise people Bluntness - its pretty much just you (and a couple of others) who have it in for her. Far more Laura1 fans on this thread than detractors

I have to say, I don’t have anything against new Laura, she seems nice enough. But I really don’t think she’s veth attractive. She’s alright, but nothing special. Her face just isn’t rhat pretty IMO and for some reason I get the grubby comment someone made earlier

That’s really nasty I know, I’m sure she’s a really lovely girl, but I just don’t think she’s particularly attractive facially.

I noticed Josh was sitting with the Dani group last night. His back was to the camera. It’s almost as if the 4 Fuckers think they had better curb their group conduct - which mainly involves gawping and sneering at others who are in distress. May be they had better mix a bit.
People have recently mentioned, here in the outside world, that the contestants have polarised, perhaps even into race groupings.

I don't like Laura1. I don't have it in for her. I simply don't like how she behaves.

I haven't from the start. Not liking someone doesn't mean they have it in for them.

I think she is stunning and seems like a good friend to the other women. However, I think she has massive self esteem issues When it comes to men.

I don't think Laura has tried to force anything. More than once she's asked the person she was dating to be honest with her and they downplayed what they were doing.

This is what I see, it’s funny how people take different viewpoints. I get the vibe that the general public like her.

I think the public do like her. That’s kinda important.

I can quite happily make my own mind up. I saw a few episodes early. Then watched for about the last week. I only joined this thread today and haven't followed it on social media.

The reason I think she has massive self esteem issues is her behaviour. In one of the first episodes she saw her arse because Wes was talking to Ellie (I think it was Ellie). She went over and squirted something at him. She panics when the bloke she is paired with, talks to other girls and gets shitty when other girls say they like the guy she is paired with. Even though she knows what the show is about. She repeats the same pattern with each bloke.

She got really distressed when Jack2 went on a date with Alexandra.

Of course you can form an opinion on people's self esteem. They are on there for the public to judge wether they like them or not. I don't like her, I think she can be quite controlling.

My opinion is as valid as the opinions of people who like her.

It is weird. As said, when I look at Laura 2 I just see a fit healthy young woman who is reasonably attractive. I certainly don't see someone unattractive, masculine, grubby and prone to cold sores.

Laura 1 is manipulative in her relationships, she wants the men fawning over her and chasing her actively all the time to boost her low self-esteem. She's the type of woman who could become a bunny boiler/ stalker if dumped IRL. That's why the men back away she tries to control too quickly.

Anyway... First Look! Has anyone else seen it yet? Looks like Stephanie’s spitting out her dummy at Jack 2! Obviously it’s not in context but she seems very aggressive! I think Sam is going to pick Georgia and they’ll ride off into the sunset together.

DH who has expressed no interest so far, said he thought new Laura is hot. I think men and women have very different opinions on who is good looking.

I see from First Look that Georgia and Sam choose first. Could the explosive row be because they try and couple up with "taken" people?

I would like Laura 1 to win, I also like Laura 2, her kiss with Jack 2 was positively sizzling! Not sure about the other new girl.
