I'm erring toward dr Tim - happy to cover for Elliot (I can't imagine him being such a good friend as to do so unless he's the actual killer), seems calculating type, younger daughter thinks it at least possible he hurt her mum, I believe her mum (why would someone have fake photos of a bruised body I think that's too far fetched), didn't mention anything about Chris being a victim of false accusations (which if he was the fabulous friend he's trying to make out he is, he would have)... Anyone else similar thoughts?

Yes! And a very mentally unwell person likely with little memory of the evening, but in the vicinity, and easily persuaded (he thinks) to accept the guilt!

Am I the only one thinking news of his arrest will result in patients (young women at the time) coming forward to say he molested them? Was aggressive with them?

Remember - the accusation at the beginning of the series questioning his conduct as a dr WASN'T the first time he'd been investigated/accused.

Based on previous series iirc we (audience) did know by this point.

The last episode reveals the rest, but don't count out a surprise there.

I'm trying to remember what the surprise was in series 1, I'm thinking it was in someone who seemed suspicious being totally innocent?

series 2 the twist was the murderers weren't charged, ethical dilemma for sunny and cassie.

Series 3 - I'm afraid it could be that the murderer is even worse than just one murder, that they've happened upon a serial killer? Who went undetected for decades? There's been real life instances like this, where serial killers have been caught due to minor parking offences etc.

I agree those knickers unlikely to be Hayley's, so who DO they belong to? The necklace also isn't one I would put with a fashionable teen at millennium, weren't chunkier necklaces more popular then? ( we need style & beauty people on that one).

Maybe he's the killer and the rest is just a red herring. Dr Tim is definitely a wrong 'un though

SPOILERS FOR SERIES'S 1 &2:

In series 1 the killer was someone who nobody suspected. In series 2, the killers were people we suspected and we found out who each one killed and why. In both series's we didn't find out until the final episodes.

It’s Mel (quiz ex wife). She was having affair with Dr Tim, caught him with Hayley, killed her and then he covered it up. She has tried to cover her tracks by dropping ex hubby and son in it. Trophies are from some other young girl he shagged.

Curiouser, and curiouser... So the father thought it was his son, just as I did. Roll on next week.
