Anyone else counting the hours 'til Friday? Saga banged up and stitched up for the murder of her evil mama; how will she cope? Come on Henrik, save our girl!

So so sad

Panicmode1 · 09/06/2018 06:35

Oh no, I was hoping you guys would be able to tell me who Tommy was - I can't remember if we're supposed to know/remember! I'm not going to google though as I don't want to ruin it.

Such a sad episode - Saga looked so lost. I really hope that the series doesn't end bleakly for her; I don't think I could bear it!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 09/06/2018 07:18

The series with the 'pig masked' eco terrorists was the second one wasn't it? Where the brother had an unhealthy interest in his dying sister (he was spying on her).

I can't remember if Tommy fitted into that scenario - could he have been one of the victims used to test the drug?

VanillaSugar · 09/06/2018 08:32

I noticed something and I haven't googled it and this is my personal observation:

When wheelchair guy was being sick into the bin he raised his body up and his legs moved. At the time I thought "oh, the actor hasn't mastered the physical aspect of disability properly". (In RL I am connected to a couple of people who have lost the use of their legs) .

But... but... but..... we only have his word that - no, hang on, he was at the party in his wheelchair when we found out that SIL was his mum.

I'm rambling. Is he as disabled as he makes out? But why would you do that to your own mum and gran?

TimeIhadaNameChange · 09/06/2018 09:56

Did he have his accident before, or after, his dad's death? If before, his “disability” could be his alibi, if he murdered his dad, that is. Or, if, say, his mother was the murdress he could be planning the same to get revenge. We've had one son kill his father, is that a parallel?

LightAsTheBreeze · 09/06/2018 10:02

It mentions on Digital Spy (UK pace) who Tommy is but it could be a bit too spoilery for some, it is also on Wikipedia according to Digital Spy

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 09/06/2018 10:32

Just watched last night's episode on iPlayer.
Although I could see it coming I was shocked at poor Saga telling Henrik she'd had a termination. Whilst it is very interesting that she seemed to be mastering the identification of her feelings of love for Henrik I can't believe that Saga wouldn't realise the effect her decision would have on her and Henrik's relationship. She knew how much he wanted the baby. I find that a little odd considering she's a shit hot detective.
I really hope this series isn't Going to end with Saga driving her Porsche off the Öresund bridge.
I also think that there will be links to season 1. Not great for those of us who watched it years ago and consumed weeks worth of Scandi Noir in the meantime.
I just have a strong feeling of trepidation when it comes to the last episode . Saga deserves a happy ending but will we she get it?

Xmasbaby11 · 09/06/2018 10:39

I know, I find it a bit far fetched that Saga doesn't realise his feelings when he's actually very clear about them especially the baby.

ScoobyGangMember · 09/06/2018 11:57

My heart broke a bit for Saga and Henrik last night. No idea who Tommy is. If he relates to series 1 or 2, how would Henrik know him as he wasn't involved in those cases? Sadly I think Saga will commit suicide at the end:(

YouStacey · 09/06/2018 12:24

I was reading comments elsewhere that when creepy commune man was introduced to Henrik he repeated H's surname Sabroe in a way that suggested it was significant to him. Did he know Alice? Is his daughter really Henrik's daughter? I don't think he is Tommy because we saw Tommy's photo and he was nothing like the commune man.
Could commune man have persuaded Alice to leave Henrik and join the commune, Alice and girls then died and commune man disposed of their bodies?

YouStacey · 09/06/2018 12:26

I enjoyed the scene at the baby party- it was a bit like the evil fairy godmother turning up at Sleeping Beauty's christening Grin

MissWimpyDimple · 09/06/2018 13:33

Ok so wheelchair guy is Sonnings SIL son. Is he the same guy that is henriks drug support group friend?

I didn't see that they were the same people! Do we know his name?

MissWimpyDimple · 09/06/2018 13:38

Hang on. Wheelchair guy is called Kevin. So he's not Tommy.

Over600Ecalypts · 09/06/2018 13:42

Sofie and Cristoffer are making a mistake in moving in with Frank (creepy commune man).

He's a bit too handy at calmly disposing of dead bodies...

ScoobyGangMember · 09/06/2018 13:44

Who was the possible baddy who earlier said to Henrik "I know you don't I?" and Henrik said No.

ToffeeUp · 09/06/2018 14:23

Glad I have found this thread just to know that it wasn't just me and DH going Tommy, who the fuck is Tommy!?

I really felt for Henrik this episode. Everyone was coming to him for support and then he got 'betrayed' by all of them.

I don't trust Frank at all and I am sure he recognised the name Sabroe.

Gangsta Granny was funny.

I am enjoying this series but preferred the Saturday night double episode.

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 09/06/2018 14:24

It is more confusing than ever. I think that it is very hard to appreciate the nuances and implications in people's speech when it is in a different and unknown language. I think it is easy for a lot of stuff to go over our heads. You I think a pp might have said this up thread . Plus translations are often approximate.
Sooooooo, who is Kevin's father then? Sonning's sil's husband with the scary Solveig as the mum? Deffo something up there but introducing a new character of Solveig, however minor so near the end must have a lot of significance, surely?
Speaking of Solveig, that's the name of the main character in The Legacy, an absolutely brilliant series. And the dishy bloke from that is also in The Rain ( just binge watched on netflix)Grin I actually watch more foreign language than English stuff these days . Only yesterday i was thinking about the lonely shelf of tapes in the World Cinema section in the video shop, always my favourite bit. Hopefully we will all find something to take our minds off the upcoming loss of Saga and the Öresund Bridge.
Thank goodness for Walter Presents: 😃

PurpleDaisies · 09/06/2018 14:25

I liked the double episode format too.

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 09/06/2018 14:29

Yy to that toffee Henrik must be feeling how the homo Tariq felt, experiencing betrayal and loss. Oh goodness I hope Henrik doesn't blow his own brains out too. That is, if we don't discover that he buried his own family under the patio in a crazy meth fuelled temper Grin
We need answers dammit!

AgentProvocateur · 09/06/2018 14:36

I've just watched last night's episode and immediately came here to finding out who the fuck Tommy was! Glad you're all as confused as me Grin

ToffeeUp · 09/06/2018 14:40

Scooby was that when they interviewed Dan the taxi driver? I can't remember the scene but do remember thinking it had something to do with Henrik buying drugs. Do you remember which episode it was?

Hoof you might be on to something with Henrik........ Have we ever seen his garden patio Grin

ScoobyGangMember · 09/06/2018 15:05

Yes I think that's it Toffee. So just the drugs thing then. I hadn't considered Henrik might have done them in. Surely not Shock

MrsFring · 09/06/2018 17:11

I have a horrible feeling that Saga isn't going to survive this, I fear that she will be the proxy victim to get at Henrik. Kevin has deliberately sought Henrik out I reckon and seems to be increasingly involved in the various threads. Could Tommy be Kevin's druggie dad? Who actually is still around despite what Kevin said? I'm also reckon that Astrid may turn out to be one of Henrik's daughters. Maybe. I'm probably wrong about all of it though.

"He's a bit too handy at calmly disposing of dead bodies..."

Yes, that possibly was not the first time. He also now has a huge hold over Sofie and Cristoffer - their secret is safe with him as long as they do what he wants....

YouStacey · 09/06/2018 17:46

I thought the body disposal was a bit rubbish. Chucking a body into a fairly shallow stream - it could have got snagged anywhere. Either chuck it in a deep river weighed down with concrete or bury it in the forest. And why no attempt to move the car?
I really felt for Christoffer last night.
