Anyone else counting the hours 'til Friday? Saga banged up and stitched up for the murder of her evil mama; how will she cope? Come on Henrik, save our girl!

I noticed this week that the camera lingered on Niels' aquarium, could this be a link to the poison from the sea snail that killed the girl in hospital?
Also, I think there's something about Saga's counsellor, especially with her mentioning that she does home visits.

And yes, Alice and the girls disappeared 6 years ago. Tommy is 4 years ago. So probably no connection other than Dan the taxi driver.

Although as usual with The Bridge, I accuse everyone!! I still think Niels' secretary is iffy, why is she there if not something to do with the case??

I don't trust the secretary. There's no point to her being in it - I think she's hiding in plain sight.

Frank was too creepy to be the real baddie - too obvious. However, I think he had an affair with Henrik's wife and she left Henrik to go and live with him (willingly or not.) I think Astrid is Henrik's daughter.

I wonder whether Saga's going to sacrifice herself for Henrik or his daughter. She seemed really ill today and I was worried about suicide. Her skin was awful and she seemed so distressed. Henrik wasn't showing himself in a great light.

Surely Astrid is Henrik's daughter. Is she next to be killed?

I reckon creepy commune guy may have been telling the truth about the lover, but he found out after he helped Alice leave and got annoyed she wouldn't sleep with him ( 'I've helped somone before who didn't appreciate me') and killed her and took daughters. If the daughters were six (ish) though they'd remember who they were, so even in a commune I'm surprised Astrid would not have escaped.

Astrid's clearly really disturbed, isn't she? I hope it goes well when she sees Henrik again!

I have considered that Henrik will die (wahh) and that Saga will bring up his daughter, but she hasn't met the girl now, so no relationship. I would like that, though.

I can't help thinking that either Saga or Henrik will die.

Where does Astrid go to school? Does she get to leave the village?

The whole thing with Tariq was a red herring do we think? They spent a lot of time on it.

Who is the station snitch? Relevant? Jonas?

Lilian has no one she's close to. How/Will she be punished too?

What is the point of the runaway girls? There must be a reason they're in it.

The psychiatrist is v dodgy. That phone call he made in episode one or two about "sticking to the plan " what was that all about?

Ohh just thought! When the girls told the psychiatrist their names, did they give Henrik's daughters' names? They could have found that in his house/on the jewellery!

Henriks girls were old enough that I think he would recognise them, it's still unclear what part the homeless girls are playing in all this. Maybe he will foster them and get Astrid.

Mrs fringe, brown is dominant so, simplistically, you have a 25% chance of both passing on a recessive blue gene.

T'other way around is very rare.

Maybe the homeless girls are commune bloke's children whose mother ran away with them, or who ran away from him & he tried to replace them with Henrik's DDs. Was it their father or their step-father they said they'd run away from? & Where did they say he lived in relation to the commune? I know they were probably lying about that bit but it may have an element of truth to it.

I'm sure they said step-father. This is what I love about The Bridge, it's so layered and hard to predict. It makes other shows look amateurish. I usually spot the killers a mile off in these things but I haven't been right once with the bridge

Interesting AGnu. They said they were from Jutland and it was their step father they were getting away from.

Kristoffer asked Astrid why she was speaking Danish when she was talking at the grave, another clue towards Henrik?

I'm gutted as I'm going to be on holiday for the last episode and DP informs me you can't watch iplayer outside of the UK. I'm going to have to avoid spoilers for nearly two weeks 😫😫😫😫😫😫

I'm literally losing the plot with this. Binge watched the first 3 series and finding it really hard to hold on to all the characters and story lines now it's only one episode a week.

Yes the weekly format is causing me to forget things too. I'm so used to binge watching. Astrid speaking Danish is more or less confirming her connection to Henrik but have they been face to face yet?

No Lois they've not seen each other. Henrik and Saga went to the 'commune' but only saw the guy (is it Frank?), not his 'daughter'.

So I think we can safely assume she is Henriks, as much as you can assume anything with this programme. I hope we get some sort of happy ending for at least one character. It's just as unrealistic for 100 per cent doom and gloom as it is for a Disney type happy ending. I really don't want Saga or Henrik to die.
