I'd be completely gutted if I'd organized a gazillion treats for an anniversary and not even got a card in return, TT is acting like an entitled wanker.
Ryan does come across as really controlling still, regardless of the above point.

The lack of card is just plain "can't be arsed-ness". This is what makes me think she's getting bored. I think she feels obligated to stick it out because her family, especially Snidey Little Sam think he's so good for her.

I've just been reading about Lundy Bancroft on another thread. I know Louise is no angle but I suspect she has herself a bit of a Mr Sensitive in Ryan.

I don't think posh people buy cards.
The lower down the social scale you are, the bigger/ brighter the cards are until you hit padded ones.
Champagne is the acceptable substitute. Flowers if you are bit more middle class (fresh flowers are for all year round of course).

I'm also starting to wonder whether Ryan really is controlling? Louise is the one who keeps him on his toes emotionally. She didn't bother to buy him a card. When he pulled her up on it she cried. She's a victim bully. She didn't follow him out of the restaurant. When the argument kicked off between Alik and Ryan she laughed at Alik mocking Ryan and was actually stood next to Alik. She's often said she never makes a move on a man sexually. Seems to me that everything is on her terms. Maybe she's the controlling one.

Louise and Ryan don't match. Louise should have bought a card and seemed to turn it back on Ryan. Ryan should have his own friends though. I'd hate to date someone without his own social world and needy.

I think Olivia is having a quarter life crisis realising she's not 18 anymore. She keeps getting told she's boring... at the same meals or partys as her friends... hmm

Just watching last nights. What did Ryan expect? Really. Alik has been in that friendship group for longer and is more solid with them. If Ryan makes a big fat fuss every time Alik is around then someone is going to have to bow out and it's going to be the one making the big fat fuss all the time. People don't want drama, they just want to have a laugh and get pissed.

Agree Rysa is looking better these days and cards are the mode of communication in some places outside Chelsea
