I'm having a very delayed catch up and am episodes behind but my assessment is that

Amelia is the new Cheska (nowhere near as attractive as the others, no romance story line and there to hang around on the fringes to make it appear like there are normal looking people around and stir the plot)

Maeva is the new Lucy Watson (at first appearing to be a total bitch but ultimately exonerated as a cool woman who won't take any shit)

Freddie is the new Frances Boulle crossed with succession planning for the loss of Mark Francis

The one who looks a bit like Ryan whos dated verity, Eliza and all comers is set up to be the new Spencer (replacement for the damp squib Harry turned out to be when he shacked up with Melissa.

It's all casting by rote now and not very interesting:

Player man
Beautiful bitchy woman
Settled couple with a bit of infidelity drama from time to time to add drama
Normal looking one with no bfs
A few interchangeable women who will pass through (Fran, that Lettuce one etc)
Young immature bloke
Ridiculously posh one

No mention of the end of series party thing either. Strange

Amelia is beautiful because she isn't full of fillers and hasn't got a face that looks as though it has been washed with Pledge.

Harpy isn't a patch on Lucy, And she isn't beautiful but haggard looking. Lucy had redeeming features, Harpy is still just a chatte.

The Freddies are forgettable.

Jimmy Bieber being like Spenny? As questionable as the scriptwriters are this season, if that is their plan they've misjudged it. Massively.

If I shoved my toenail clippings into a pot of miracle grow I'd end up with far more interesting life forms. And if I'm careful and take cuttings of my cuttings as it were, I might manage to grow a scriptwriter.

And if there is any justice in this world, I can maybe manage to grow a chocolate bush and a money tree.

The Frau may not speak snake. Funny as she seems to be ok with other languages. Like her, I speak frotze. But she speaks it far better than me. Far better. She didn't need hair of the dog. She's bitch enough.

And the harpy dismissing Jimmy B? Quelle surprise. Going back to dramatic ickle Miles. Zut alors. Then getting dumped again? They need to be together. They are both arseholes. But Jimmy is a good sub.

The Frau and Harpy need to be sent home. Tout suite/sofort.

Love Amelia. Perhaps Harpy and Frau can take Hugo with them.

carol I'm genuinely surprised they are filming a new series.

I reckon that Habbs will suddenly burst out with a throaty *wwwhhhoaaaaa Bodyform' and Mellissa will chirp in with a 'shaped for condfidence, shaped for comfort - sha-aped for yooooooo'

And they can strut off - a lister stylee - in tight white breeks on their way to go horse riding or roller blading or something.

Interesting timing that Sam is dating Zara right at the time that Jamie is out and about with Habbs.

All very silent on the Made in Chelsea front although I see there is an opportunity to date some of them at an event next Wed. Miles, Freddie, Verity and Eliza are at a speed dating event.

Last series was a bit odd. I for one will be glad to see this chap's face again!
